2 Minute Walk to Beach - Spacious Home with Heated Pool

You're a short 2 minute walk from the white sand beach on Anna Maria Island! Walk right (south) out the front door, turn right and then you're just 62 steps to the Gulf of Mexico.

This spacious home comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children in its 4 large bedrooms. Family-friendly floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on each side of the house. There's also a pocket door for additional privacy. You and the kids will love the private heated saltwater pool. Or head across the street to the white-sand beach to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine. You might see a couple dolphins swim by.

We offer contactless keypad check-in (you'll receive a code to open/lock door). Other than food/drinks, we supply just about everything you'll need: a fully-stocked kitchen complete with pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, utensils, toaster, air fryer, drip coffeemaker, coffee grounds, spices/oil, and a blender. You'll also find a washer/dryer, towels, soap, shampoo, Wifi, cable TV, and a vinyl turntable with blue-tooth capabilities. There's also a canopy tent, Pack 'n Play, high chair, and booster seat for your little ones.

You're beach-ready: just load our beach chairs & towels into our handy wagon for an easy 2-minute walk to the beach (it's literally across the street).

A Publix grocery store, Walgreens and CVS is less than a mile up the road. Hop aboard the free air-conditioned trolley that takes you to the many locally-owned restaurants and bars on the Island. We left a list of our favorites inside the house.

Shop the boutiques along Pine Avenue & grab lunch or cocktails at The Sand Bar. Choose homemade donuts from The Donut Experiment or a romantic dinner at The Waterfront or The Porch restaurants. Neighboring Holmes Beach features more dining options: Isola Bella, Freckled Fin or The Ugly Grouper. Sip on craft cocktails at The Doctor's Office (an old doctor's office-turned-craft cocktail bar). In Bradenton Beach, head to Bridge Street for live music at Island Time or the Blue Marlin, play a round of mini golf at The Fish Hole, enjoy ocean-front dining at The Beach House, or enjoy frozen cocktails at the scenic Daiquiri Deck.

Take the water taxi from Anna Maria Pier or Bridge Street to downtown Bradenton. Longboat Key is a 5-minute ride down Gulf Blvd. where date-night dining options include Shore LBK and Whitney's.

The world-famous Siesta Key beach is a scenic 45-minutes away. The Ringling Museum and the many boutiques on St. Armand’s Circle are even closer.

Kayak at the gorgeous Robinson Preserve in nearby Bradenton or bike the scenic Legacy Path between Venice and Sarasota. If you're looking to experience all of Disney's magic, Orlando is a 2-1/2 hour car ride. In spring training, the Pirates and Orioles play in nearby Bradenton and Sarasota.

Fly into Sarasota airport (SRQ) for a quick 25-minute ride to the house while Tampa (TPA) is just over an hour away.

*Please Note: the entire Island was affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Our property lost a lot of palm trees and greenery in the backyard which we replanted/replaced in late-2024.

While unusual, unseasonably cold winter temperatures (40s-50s) may keep the pool from reaching 83 degrees.

Only small and medium-sized dogs under 50 lbs. are welcome with a non-refundable fee. (There are absolutely no exceptions for dogs over 50 lbs.)

Communication with the owners was excellent- even after the devastating hurricane last October. They were very forthcoming about the status of the house and property. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. All beach stuff included was a huge bonus and the location is perfect We would definitely stay here again.

This home was even better than we expected! The location is great, 2 minutes to the beach and they had beach chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards… If you’re wondering if the island is ok to visit after the hurricane… IT IS!! Almost everything open, debris is cleaned up and this home in particular is gorgeous!! The comfy beds and beautiful pool was a bonus!! If you’re looking to visit AMI, this is the home to rent!

This place ROCKS!

My family’s stay at “yacht rock ranch” was incredible! The house was even better than we imagined. The living room and kitchen has a spacious open floor plan that allowed us to spread out on a rainy day without being in different rooms. The large dinner table was perfect for card games, while the other half of the family watched tv. The pool was our favorite part of the house, it was private oasis with a view of the beach if you peek through the palm trees. We highly recommend staying here, and would definitely book again in the future!

After years of vacationing to Bradenton and nearby Sarasota, our family purchased the property in 2018. We renovated the kitchen and primary bedroom, updated both bathrooms and added new hardwood floors in the kitchen, primary bathroom and bedrooms. After hurricanes Helene and Milton, the entire house was renovated in 2024 with new cabinets, countertops and furniture.

Why they chose this property

This our "happy place". We've vacationed in Bradenton/Sarasota since the '90s and chose the charming Yacht Rock Ranch for its location (less than 2 minute walk from the Gulf of Mexico) and its ability to host our entire family. We updated it to be a relaxed, chic, family-friendly vacation home. Our goal is to make our guests share that feeling at the Yacht Rock Ranch.

--P.S. Play some of our old vinyl to play and relax in our private tropical backyard. Nothing says Classic Florida like a cool drink and smooth tunes while lounging in our heated pool :-)

What makes this property unique

Our location to the Gulf is a HUGE plus! Anna Maria Island has managed to retain the charm of old-school, laid-back Florida. There are no high-rise condos or shopping malls on the Island, but you will find numerous locally-owned restaurants and shops nestled along the sugar-white beaches & emerald gulf waters. Take in the sunrise overlooking Tampa Bay in the morning and an unforgettable sunset on the Gulf of Mexico in the evening. The free Trolley travels the length of this beautiful 7 mile island with stops every couple blocks. Just look for the green signs.
