Newly renovated bathroom,bedrooms, and living area. Hardwood floor.
* Located on the Chechesse river
* Small Quite, Family Neighborhood
* Fully functional kitchen and laundry
* 4 bedroom house (1 King, 2 doubles, 1 Queen),with one futon, and two full length couches
* 2 full baths (1 downstairs and 1 upstairs) newly updated
* 2 screened porches
* Covered dock
* Deep water floating dock
* Wooden observation deck with chairs.
*A small piece of heaven - view of river front and marsh from all bedrooms, living area and kitchen. We see beautiful sun rises and moon rises. On occasions we see dolphins, sea birds and eagles. It is a nice quiet friendly neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. It is about half way between Beaufort and Bluffton off hwy 170. It is about 15 or 20 minutes to Paris Island. House is fully furnished including towels and sheets.

We had a large family group come in for Marine graduation and had a wonderful stay. This home is beautiful and was furnished, clean and welcoming. Mrs.Betty was so kind and thoughtful before, during and after our stay and was always available if we needed her. I’m so thankful to her for the time spent in her home celebrating my son’s accomplishment and visiting with family. We would highly recommend staying here at her lovely home.

Enjoyed our stay for my son’s graduation from Marine Corp boot camp at Parris Island. Just a 22 minute drive to MCRD PI. Ms Betty Jane was prompt to answer my questions and was very nice. The back yard and dock was awesome. The sunrise in the morning was beautiful!

Everything that you need in one spot

This is a halfway point between my daughter in Raleigh and us in central Florida. The house was spacious, the kitchen was huge and well equipped, and the neighborhood was very peaceful. It was a short drive to restaurants and groceries. There is a dock on the river for fishing. Its everything that you need in one spot!

River House

Walking into this house felt exactly like home. We loved the beautiful property and the dock! We spent most of our time on the porch and fishing on the dock. This was the perfect spot for us to stay for our son’s graduation. The hosts are very welcoming and kind and helpful! If we are ever in South Carolina again, we will most definitely be staying here.

My family and I came to Bluffton for a wedding and wanted to take in a few beach days as well This property was perfect for our party of nine! We enjoyed watching dolphins , fishing from the dock and drinking coffee on the large screened-in back porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back .

Marine Corps Basic Training Graduation

If you have a large group coming for a Parris Island Basic Training Graduation, this is a great place to stay. Our large family group of 12 had a grate stay here, so much better than staying in 3 cramped hotel rooms. The drive to Parris Island is about 20 min. The views of the river are fantastic. The house is a little older and showing its age, which may not be good for some people, but it is clean and comfortable, and the location is amazing.

Relaxing with the dolphins

We had a great time here; kitchen was plenty big enough to host our family, the dock was phenomenal, and a small pod of dolphins swam by every single morning just after sunrise. Amazing!

4 generations came together and spent thanksgiving together. The house and property gave everyone plenty of space for cooking, eating, fishing, fire pit star gazing, walking, play and private times. Everyone found fun things to do. Easy access to Port Royal and Beaufort and other surrounding areas.
