Gold Standard Beach Front Estate with Private Pool and walk to Placencia Village

Made up of two houses, Ginger House and Tower House, Aurora Beach offers a perfect place to stay in Placencia Village. The house, completed in 2014, is on a private oversized Beach Front lot with a pool, offering plenty of privacy and outdoor space. The location is ideal, just a ten minute walk down the beach to Placencia village with its restaurants and shops.

The homes are a contemporary comfortable style perfect for couples or families. Air conditioning in every room, WIFI, cable and internet are all included. Every bedroom upstairs has a full beach view, its own private tiled bathroom with two sinks, air conditioning if the breezes just don’t do it for you, and a fan overhead on the Rosa wood ceilings.

Tower House has a bedroom on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom, making 3 bedrooms total for the house and 5 for the property.

Each house has a living room open to the dining area and kitchen, furnished in comfortable modern furniture either imported from the US or handcrafted of Mahogany locally. The living rooms have large sliding glass doors that open up to each home’s veranda and look out over the pool to the ocean beyond.

Tower House is the larger of the two homes, with a roof top deck offering 360 degree views, from the sunrise over the ocean to the sunset in the mountains beyond the lagoon. There are two bedrooms upstairs, a king bed in one, a queen and a twin bed in the other. The bedroom downstairs has a queen sized bed and a view of the private grounds.

Ginger House also has two bedrooms upstairs, a king bed in one, a queen and a twin bed in the other. Both units have a washer and dryer.

The property was everything we wanted it to be. The Houses are absolutely perfect , the furnishings are comfortable and the views are spectacular . Nick the caretaker and his wife were very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time enjoyed the house, pool, and all of the local food and activities. What a great time!!

We rented both houses for a family reunion. The space, the location, the views -- all peaceful and perfect. Nick , the caretaker, and his family are a delight. I would book this house again!!!

Slice of paradise!

Paradise in Placencia

The houses, beds, kitchen set up were all quite excellent. The grounds and pool are perfectly lovely. We had a car but definitely did not need one. Super walkable and a wonderful area to explore. The restaurants, bars and food did no disappoint. And Nick is excellent with whatever you need and does a marvelous job keeping the property in tip top shape. We loved it! And highly recommend this booking.

Beachfront paradise

Our group of 8 adults found paradise at this rental. The two houses are nearly identical, very clean and comfortable. Great showers, plenty of bath and pool towels to go around. Having a washer/dryer with detergent was very convenient. The pool was much bigger in person than appears in the photos and the beach is just on the other side of the hedge. A very walkable beach that can take you around into Placencia and it's restaurants. Their property manager Nick is a wonderful man and was great to interact with and was always there for whatever we needed. We look forward to a return visit!

Best Family Visit (Thanks Nick!)

What an amazing stay we had. The two homes were perfect for my family of five in one and my sister and parents in the other. The pool was a delight and we used it constantly. We also took advantage of having the beach right there. The location is near enough to the village to get there easily (we rented golf carts, though you could also walk) yet far enough away to feel like we had our own private paradise. The hedges provide an added layer of privacy and distance from the outside world. The caretaker, Nick, was the highlight of the trip. He was consistently helpful, while giving us our space, and he does an amazing job caring for the grounds and homes.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located, comfy, clean, safe home. Nick, property manager, was very friendly and always available to help. The pool was bigger than it seemed in the pictures and house located right on beach (just down the stairs from the pool and through the hedge). We did bring floats for the pool which came in handy for the depth. It was about a 15 min walk to reach the center of Placencia sidewalk but due to heat we decided on golf carts which gave us a little more freedom for our multiple trips for grocery store, dinner or fun. Owner also very helpful in answering questions and providing helpful lists of to-dos. Don’t ignore her suggestion of booking tour with Grayson… he was amazing, too! Over all great stay and all of us, ages 16-75, enjoyed it!!

Perfect family getaway

This house(s) were great for our family group of 8 adults. We chose it because we really wanted a house which was a beachfront property with a pool and also walking distance to town. Everything felt clean and comfortable. The property manager Nick was beyond helpful and the host Ann, was always willing also to share information. We had an amazing stay.

Magical Place

Aurora Beach was the perfect spot for our large family (my family of 5, my sister and my parents). The location was ideal...outside the center of the village, but only a couple hundred yards from the Placencia sidewalk. The entire property, including pool area, is pristine, with literally not one stone out of place. The houses are spotless and have everything you need. Most importantly, there is Nick, always there keeping a watchful eye, and quick to give advice and assist planning any activities. Take Nick's recommendations for everything. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing All The Way!

This place was fantastic. We have stayed at multiple places in Placencia and this was a favorite. Ann was great the whole way through and Nick the onsite manager was very helpful with any request or question and just a very nice man. We loved it and will be back.

Perfect 4 couple getaway

We came with four couples and we each had our own private bedroom and bathroom. The salt water private pool was amazing and used everyday. Close enough to walk to restaurants and the village too. We all loved our stay here! We’d love to come back again, it was a perfect trip.

Aurora Beach, Tower & Ginger Houses were clean and the property was beautifully groomed.

WOW! What an amazing place. We enjoyed our stay so much! We would rent again in a heartbeat. It fit our group of 9 (6 adults and , 3 children) perfectly. The houses were very clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchens had pots, pans, baking pans, stock pots, cutting boards, basically everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The houses even had beach/pool towels for guest use. The bathrooms were clean and there were hair dryers in each full bath. The city water went off a couple times but that didn't slow us down much. We let the AMAZING, caretaker, Nick know and he took care of it as soon as possible, and the water was back on in hardly no time at all. The pool, was SO wonderful and used EVERYDAY, sometimes all day! We did a couple excursions but could have just stayed at the property all week and still had a wonderful time. We were gone all day on an excursion to Ranguana Caye on our cleaning day and decided to have Vilma cook an evening meal for us. DELICIOUS!! It was SO YUMMY! The mom's of our group were a bit concerned about being so close to the main road and having to deal with getting in & out of the gate at first. We were quickly put at ease and learned to appreciated the gate and knowing Nick, if not on property, was only a phone call away. We have stayed at one other place in Placencia that was comparable but even so Aurora Beach was a step above due to the caretakers Nick & Vilma. Thank you Ann Trudeau for having your family's property for the enjoyment of others. We will certainly be keeping this as a favorite.

We are from Massachusetts with three adult children that all love vacationing in Belize!

Why they chose this property

We searched for a house in the right location. We wanted to be able to walk home from the town, yet not be in the busy center. This large lot was perfect. It is hard to find a home that is high end but comfortable enough to relax in. A builder by trade, we had no problem constructing the houses to meet our strict quality guidelines, importing hurricane windows from Pella in the US, using the local Mahogany craftsmen in the area for fine finishes, and personally overseeing the construction.

What makes this property unique

We love the feeling of privacy but the proximity to restaurants and shops. We also have the best caretaker in the world on the premises ensuring that the place is well maintained and secure.
