Loved the deck and the beautiful view of the surrounding fields and mountains in the distance. Also enjoyed walking to the Old Inn on the Green for a drink at their histoeic bar. Really enjoyable spot and will definitely be back.
Cute cottage and great property. Enjoyed how quiet it is when we spent time on the patio enjoying our breakfast and dinners. Well equipped cabin exactly as advertised!
This was our second year staying at this property. Can’t ask for a better location for hiking and getting away from the SC heat and city life in Charleston!
This was our first stop on a long journey from VA to ME, traveling with 2 dogs. It was perfect, the dogs were safe with lots of freedom to roam. What a beautiful, peaceful village and sweet little cottage.

Berkshire Cottage
Enjoyed my stay. Very relaxing. Very scenic area. Close to Great Barrington, and Stockbridge. Visited Rockwell Museum. Would be ideal for someone who would like to ski.
This little spot was absolutely perfect. Beautiful land, with beautiful views (complete with a cow heard grazing in the distance)....it was bliss :-) Strong recommendation for anyone looking for simple peace and quiet, and and escape from the hustle/bustle of city living.
No hassle check in-check out .Very dog friendly which is great for us since we always go hiking with the pups.Climbing up to the loft is for the youngsters, but the couch is big enough for 2.
The property was well appointed and maintained. The pictures don’t do the space justice. We would highly recommend this rental. The area has a lot to do and see!
Beautiful wrap-around porch. Views were wonderful. Had to use the pullout sofa, because the stairs to the loft was basically a stepladder and for us seniors, was a no go. It does need a microwave. We gave it a four star overall, but for a younger couple would be a five.
This was an adorable little cabin in a beautiful town in the Berkshires. The cabin was perfect for me and my boyfriend for the weekend: it had a beautiful yard, deck, and inside everything we needed. I will note that the bed was up in a lofted space which wasn’t an issue for us, but for anyone with injuries or disability it would be very difficult to get up there. We loved the cabin and found it very cozy and natural.
It was a pleasure to find this gem of a cabin available for a night so we could attend a concert at Tanglewood, despite living out of state. The location was lovely, convenient and quiet; the cabin was impeccably appointed (thanks for the fresh flowers in every room and bottle of Riesling!) and very clean with every possible amenity; and the hosts were communicative, friendly and helpful. Overall, this was an idyllic mix of quaint/cute/unique and function/comfort/ease. I will absolutely seek out this rental again next time I’m traveling to the area. Thank you to our stellar hosts!!

Quaint Retreat Home
This is a very cute home with expansive surroundings and a wonderful deck to relax to take in the wooded views. The home is clean with everything needed for your stay including a washer and dryer if needed. We stayed in early July when it was quite hot so the air conditioning made it a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this home for 2 to 4 people as anything beyond that would be a bit much.
Garden was lovely to behold! The deck goes around 3/4 of the house and has a variety of cozy seating arrangements. The cottage itself was comfy and clean, perfect for a couple with or without their kids. Location was ideal, we were going to a concert at Tanglewood and the venue was just a half hour away. We will be back!
This charming cabin was well equipped with kitchen stuff, board games, and the bed is very comfortable. The skylights allowed the overnight breezes in and the quiet was decadent ambiance. Appreciated the bottle of wine, though we did not imbibe, and the gallon of water for coffee making and drinking. Zero issues with sulfur - only a brief whiff with the first cleaning of the dishes, night one, then never again (3 nights/4days). The porch is spectacular and where I spent a lot of time; would absolutely stay again!
Enjoyed the solitude of being able to think and write in a place that was small and had everything needed. Great location to hiking and Inn at the Green foe dinner. If you get up a lot in the night you might have trouble with the loft and stairs: the water in bathroom had strong smell so I used bottled water (though shower smelled too). Stove was great and though I didn’t use porch because it was too cold, it is really nice. Highly recommend.
The cottage was perfect for me and a friend and our two dogs for 2 nights. With younger dogs with crates and two separate adults so use of pullout it was tight but worked perfectly well with a little arrangement. Everything you need in the house for cooking, relaxing, lounging. Amazing wrap around porch. Grill seemed to be charcoal and confused us but we never reached out to ask for guidance, just didn’t use. Older house but we’ll kept. Very very liveable. Large property with field for dog play. Close to not too busy road.
Best of all: the area! Preserve up the road for hikes, only restaurants in town walking distance and 15-20 minutes drive to everything else you need or want to do or get.
Peaceful. Would stay again.
We were very pleased with the accommodations at the cabin. It was as described. A bottle of wine welcomed us and was a nice touch even though we never had a chance to enjoy it. As other reviewers mentioned, the only negative would be the water having a sulfur smell. We just built a house and new well, so until we got a water system we were very used to this and it wasn’t a big deal to us at all. They do have in line water filters as well as a faucet filter in the kitchen. We weren’t concerned with using the water and we brought drinking water. Our favorite part of our stay was the big wrap around deck that was gated, a blessing for two parents with a very busy almost 2 yr old. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
The location and beauty of the surroundings are exquisite, everything I wanted for a pastoral getaway. The house's exterior was lovely, and the giant porch was spacious and comfortable. The bedroom(s) were another matter. The upstairs loft--inadequately described in the property description--requires a steep ascent and descent into a cute and cozy sleeping nook but requires the nubility of a 25-year-old yoga practitioner to otherwise move around. I would rate the access to the loft through its trapdoor a serious safety risk which should be addressed immediately by the owner. The sofa bed in the downstairs is unsleepable if you unfold it and sleep on the mattress. The frame's bar is uncomfortably against your back all night. I slept on the couch unfolded. Lastly, many places throughout the property could stand some repair and painting.

Home and property not well maintained. Ladder to sleeping loft very steep and difficult for older guests. No reading lights. Lawn not cut for weeks.
Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers. Tv and streaming and internet all good.
Property manager and repair man for kitchen stove responsive and pleasant. Got stove repaired quickly.
This would be fine for a younger couple. Good hiking nearby and fun local eateries. 15 minutes to Great Barrington. 45 minutes to Tanglewood.
We booked the trip for a quick fall getaway to see the foliage in the Berkshires, and we couldn't have been more satisfied. The cottage was a lovely and cozy home base.
