Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

The condo was amazing. The drive was a little tricky since it was snowing. When we were leaving the riads were icey. The rental agancy extended our check without asking. When I asked about the roads they responded quickly. They had the riads completely cleard and ice free before 10 am.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our time here. Was great to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen was excellent. Just down the road was access to the pool and clubhouse. The only thing to consider (which is no fault of the property or rental company) is that they are doing construction on the bridge to Boone. So if you will be traveling that way a lot, it will take some time.

Great condo with amazing views!

Sunrises from the balcony were phenomenal! Main level entrance made it easy to get in and out. Ample parking right in front. Condo was really clean & spacious. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Condo has an electric fireplace, and we were unable to use it for s’more. Owner has a small s’mores machine which we really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Presidents Day Ski to Sugar Mountain 2024

The property was beautiful with gorgeous views. One of the bedroom’s sheets and comforter were blood stained with several pieces of hair in the sheets. Dishes in the cabinet were not clean. Bedroom window was left open causing room to be very cold.

Check in and checkout instruction were clear and easy to understand. Location was excellent and beautiful view from the back deck. The home was very welcoming when arriving and very clean. We stayed for two nights to enjoy some skiing. So we did not take advantage of the additional amenities but the home was in close proximity to skiing/tubing. My only complaint is food being left in the microwave from the previous residents and gave off an odor that took a bit to identify. Also, the bathtub drains are very slow to drain and need a good clean out. Other than, pictures of the home do not represent how cozy and clean this place is and plenty of room! Highly recommend.

Beautiful Condo!

Our stay at this condo at Echota on the Ridge surpassed our expectations. Check-in/out was super easy, the condo was beautiful, clean and had an AMAZING view. The condo had everything you needed and if you are a puzzle lover, you would be in heaven! So many puzzles to keep you busy! The outdoor pool area was gorgeous as well. We highly recommend this property!

Clean and well-stocked. Only problem was electric grill which was had had pizza cooked on it and was unusable, could not even get it to heat up. Grill was to be replaced but not done while we were there. Fireplace also could not start, but maintenance fixed this when requested.

Our stay was wonderful! We had four adults and three children staying for the weekend. The rooms were beautiful, the living space was perfect for our group. The back patio view was incredibly beautiful! There was a sudden and unexpected snow while we were there and staff was extremely helpful in navigating the area.
