Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame three- bedroom, three-bathroom entry-level (requiring no stairs) condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This one-level condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. The primary bedroom is spacious and inviting with a mountain view and TV. The primary bath is set up for relaxation with his and her sinks and a gorgeous tile shower. The guest rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated each with bathrooms attached. The bathrooms are upgraded with ceramic tile flooring. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Great Family Snow Experience

Kids had a blast at the indoor heated pool + hot tub in addition to playing in the 6 inches of beautiful snow that fell. The unit is as advertised and the grill is top notch - enjoyed grilling with a beautiful view of the valley. Staff was super helpful and responsive!

MLK WKND

This was our 1st time in Boone and using Foscoe Rentals. I don’t usually write reviews but I would venture to say this one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed in!! It was VERY VERY clean (I am OCD and a big critic of this) and the description was accurate. The process was very streamlined & organized. There were easy directions for check in and out. It was a very cozy rental and quiet. The only complaint I have is that the gas fireplace wasn’t working. My husband kept working on it, following the directions in the notebook provided and there was no gas to it. I think for the price for 3 days we should have been able to use the fireplace as it was a very cold, windy and snowy wknd. So I am wondering if the gas grill outside works, it was too cold to check it. But despite this we will be staying here again!

Thanksgiving getaway

Second time at this property and had another great experience. My only complaint would be multiple lightbulbs out and emergency flashlights they had were missing batteries. Other then those two minor things we enjoyed our stay up on Red Tail Summit.

Loved our weekend on top of the world. Great condo. Well equipped kitchen. Clean. Large balcony, and great that everything was accessible for our son’s wheelchair (except shower/bath, of course). Good communication. Enjoyed the bocce ball area, fireplaces and board games also. Easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock.

Loved our weekend at CH4

Had a great time at the rental and CH4 met all our needs. Porch was little dirty and needed to be cleaned (swept, webs and grill cover), but rest of place was spotless. Great touch of fresh flowers on table as this was first time in 6 visits to Echota we had that welcome gift. We love Echota and The Ridge as we’ve come now 6 times in past 12 months. Good place, nice views, well managed

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay, it was a good size for us. Convenient location between Boone and the skiing resorts, about 15-20 min drive to each. Quite a twisty drive up through the neighborhood to these newer condos, but it was great to be on top of the ridge for the views. Couple of minor problems (not enough forks, had trouble lighting the grille, broken pan handle) which is typical for a managed rental. Otherwise, well stocked, comfy beds, clean, and quiet. Big deck with large grille. Would rent here again!

Spacious and GREAT View!!

Cannot say enough about the view from this property - it's beautiful! The Queen and King bedrooms were huge - tons of room, and all 3 bathrooms were very big - especially the master. The kitchen is fantastic and well equipped. The provided towels were very nice - real, thick bath towels, not the flimsy ones! - and they provided all the essentials - paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, kitchen towels, etc. Access to the indoor pool was great for the kids - it has a nice shallow area for little ones, and of course the hot tub is a hit. This condo was very spacious for our family of four - and would easily fit two couples or two small families; the only word of caution is that the common living area is very small, and only one couch for seating (otherwise sitting at the table or bar). So during cold months when you can't really hang out on the back deck, the common area is a little tight. But there are tvs and cable in each bedroom - so that is an option for spreading out. The back deck is awesome - it's very roomy and the grill worked great. And again...the view - - we felt like we were living in a postcard, very very relaxing!! The gas fireplace in the den is awesome and heats the place right up - - we couldn't figure out the one in the master bedroom, so that was a bit of a bummer. We will definitely stay in this property again - was very impressed with Echota and Foscoe Rentals.

Boone Christmas 2020

Property was very clean and well stocked with essential items except for paper towels. Listing said one roll was provided but none were found in unit. Kitchen sink also leaks at base of faucet. Other than these 2 items no issues. Views from balcony were awesome!

Girls weekend getaway

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It looks just like the pictures. It was spotless and we had no worries. It is on the top of the mountain with a beautiful view. We will definitely come back again.
