The lake house is incredible with gorgeous views and a quiet environment! The house was spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need . Rebecca was communicative and responsive. It was a perfect family get away!
Beautiful property!!! I would stay again in a heartbeat. We picked this spot because it was close to the Stormville antique and flea market . It was less than 15 mins away. We had a lot of fun. Thank you to Rebecca “our host” for making everything perfect.
One of the best rentals I have ever stayed at. Clean, spacious well stocked with both outdoor and indoor ancitivies and a wonderful host who communicated well and was lovely to interact with. I would definetly stay here again!
Wonderful place! The lake was so beautiful and serene, perfect for a peaceful getaway from the city. We really took advantage of everything they had to offer from kayaking around the lake to grilling on the deck every chance we could. There's one ac unit in the living room, so warm sleepers should just note that the ceiling fan is their best friend in the summer - we had beautiful weather the whole time so was never an issue. I highly recommend staying here!
Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful and modern furniture, lovely gas fireplace, very clean, and very comfortable beds! We absolutely loved our stay and did not want to leave. We were surprised to discover a fourth bedroom!
We were looking forward to staying and the property and surroundings did not disappoint. Very well equipped, very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend!
This house was wonderful. It was clean and well stocked with almost anything you would need. The setting was spectacular - beautiful, peaceful location on a nice quiet lake. Our host Rebecca was easy to contact when necessary. We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a getaway with family or friends.
Great house. Very nice spot on the lake. County road behind the house gets pretty busy and noisy—loud exhaust pipes must be a thing in Dutchess County. Really nice owners and not too far from NYC.
Fantastic property with incredible scenic views on the lake!
Beautiful, incredible and amazing are just a few words to describe this property! The beds were comfortable, the place was super clean and the location was superb. My family and i had such a wonderful time and hope to visit this property again real soon.
Great kitchen and very well equipped. The house was super comfortable for our group. We enjoyed the chairs on the dock but it was too cold for kayaks. They would have been fun on a warmer weekend though!
The house is beautiful, light and airy. Kitchen as a dream, fully stocked and ready to go. Closets in every room with abundant hangers. There is a surprise 4th bedroom downstairs (curtain for a doorway so not counted)? There is only 1 air conditioner and it’s in the living room. Most nights it was not a problem with the breeze off the lake and there are ceiling fans and circulating fans in the bedrooms but be aware. The lake is amazing and front and center in all the views from the house, upper deck and dock. It’s quiet and peaceful with no motorized boats at all. We had coffee on the dock every morning. Dinner was on the outdoor upper deck nightly. We kayaked almost daily and it was approximately a lazy hour round trip. We also went into Beacon a few times - glass blowing, bourbon tasting and shopping. What a fun town! Supplies came from Decicco’s and everything from the pizza made-to-order, fresh sushi/salad bar and the seafood was delightful (just 12 minutes away). We’re hoping to book in again next years. We’re lake people now!
Such a great house. So clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our in laws were able to come over and we cooked out and everyone had a place to sit. We enjoyed coffee by the water in the AM and the house had a pretty view. The supplies provided were so great as it kept us from having to buy EVERYTHING as we flew here from Atlanta. .
This 4 bedroom 2 bath was so well thought out We had everything we needed to make our stay Cozy and comfortable. We slept well beds and pillows were comfy. The entire place was immaculate.Plenty of hangers for our dress clothes. The views were spectacular
We absolutely loved our stay in this home. We stayed for two weeks in mid-October and it was amazing. The property was extremely clean and well kept. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the amenities we needed, and there was so much to explore nearby. We hope to stay again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway near NYC
Beautiful stay on Lake Dutchess. House was completely renovated and included all the basics for cooking and relaxing. Spent a lot of time fishing from the private dock, playing board games and enjoying the serenity.
We’ve come here several times and enjoyed our stay each time, particularly our 2 young kids. The home is exactly as advertised in the pictures and description. Rebecca is very thoughtful and responsive. Kids had a great time playing by the private dock and kayaking and are already clamoring to come back.
House was just as described. Clean and well stocked. Amazing views of the lake.
Kids loved kayaking and fishing.
A Fire pit would be an awesome addition for this beautiful house ;)
