Great hiking trails in the area, Walkway on The Hudson, biking trails, historic sites such as FDR Home, Vanderbilt Mansion, Locust Grove. Close to Millbrook, Rhinebeck is 30 minutes away, Links at Unionvale Championship golf course and event center 4 miles, Hudson River cruises. Culinary Institute is 30 minutes away for foodies along with the many restaurants that are owned or employ their graduates.

Excellent location for visiting & events in Millbrook, Dover Plains, Wassaic. Clean, comfortable bed, lots of space in apartment, well-equipped, spacious kitchen, and great communication & hospitality from host/family.Will hopefully return some day, with close proximity to my daughter's home!

Wonderful country respite

A wonderful place to be.

This property is in a lovely, quiet area close to activities such as eating, shopping and touring about. The owners were wonderful and very easy to communicate with. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is very clean and spacious. I highly recommend it!

Trish was a great hostess. The location to the Catskills mountains, Hudson River Valley, Connecticut, Massachusetts made for fantastic vistas and exciting motorcycle twisties. Many small town centers with historic friendly vibes!

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

Quiet and a king sized bed

Those are our two top priorities! Good communication with directions to find the house. Nice array of brochures with tourist attractions, restaurant recommendations, etc. plus a voucher for a two-for-one wine tasting!

It felt like coming home!

We loved our stay at this quiet, comfortable, roomy home. It had everything we needed: a well stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed, a living room to spread out in, and a good bathroom. We were attending sessions at the Omega Institute and this get-away provided a nice retreat from all that we were learning and taking in during the day. We especially appreciated the added comfort of half and half and eggs being put in the refrigerator before we arrived. That saved us a trip to the store and added to a relaxing stay. I was really glad I had made this booking!

Hudson valley.

The house was great for what I needed a place to sleep, relax and cook some food. Has a full set kitchen for whatever you want to cook. Couches are comfortable for relaxing and watching tv. Thank you Trish again for letting us borrow your bikes to ride on the rail. It was a great recommendation. Also thanks for telling us about millbrook vineyard. We loved it there.

Why they chose this property

We are located in the center of Dutchess County so anything within the county is only a short ride away. The apartment is very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood with house well separated for privacy. We are surrounded by many horse farms, a world class winery, many breweries in rural settings.
