Beyond expectation

Glorious setting with everything as described and more. Friendly, helpful and and welcoming hosts always available. We all want to go back.

Cosy place for family and friends

We enjoyed Very much the villa and its surroundings. Great swimming pool and Direct access to the sea! Our host was very nice and helpful!

A lovely stay in a great location

We (a family of three, with a five-year-old boy) spent the first week of August at Villa Iliahtida, and loved every minute of it. It's in a gorgeous location, on cliffs above a cove on the south coast of Crete - with access to the sea below. It's a comfy, spacious villa, with all the amenities you need - air conditioning in every room, a nicely equipped kitchen, wifi, a TV/DVD system, and a shaded area outside where you can dodge the sun for most of the day. The pool is a nice size for families - and is clean and well maintained. Owner/manager Despoina lives on site, and is hugely helpful. She was there when we needed her, but otherwise she left us to get on with our holiday. We had a really relaxing time. There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants in the area too - and Ierapetra is a lively little town with supermarkets and beachfront eateries. Delightful. Chris Leadbeater, London
