Sara was a fabulous host! The house and property was just as listed. The screen room was great for relaxing and listening to the breeze and watching the water. A great place to get away to with lots to do for adults and kids!! Highly recommend a stay here!

Great property located on Wind Lake! Our family of 6 loved spending time on Wind Lake. This is a beautiful property with a great location! We can’t wait to come back and spend more time here! The house was spotless, easy to check into and the host was great to work with. Highly recommended!!

My family had a great time! We enjoyed the kayaks, bonfire, screened in patio and beautiful sunsets. The home had everything we needed and Sara was very easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

This house sits on a lake perfect for fishing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, etc. The house has a private pier that allows you to fish, bring & dock your own watercraft or park a rental boat. A boat rental is located on the lake which is convenient. This property has kayaks, a paddleboard, and lifejackets for guests to use. Many different species of fish, including some larger fish. Several restaurants/bars located near this lake house. This property rental included all bedding/pillows, towels, and fully stocked kitchen which made it very convenient. The communication, accommodating, & flexibility of the host (Sara) was amazing! We would return to the Red Bench Cottage on Wind Lake in Wisconsin for a stay in the future.

Awesome property close to Alpine Valley. A lot of great value golf courses nearby. 4 seasons porch is great for cards and conversation.

This house worked perfectly for a weekend getaway with our 6 kids. Our favorite part was the backyard which was huge!! We fished from the dock (we brought our own fishing supplies). The 3 kayaks and 1 standup paddle board were super convenient with steps going right into the water so even our 12yo could easily get in and out with the kayak on his own. The shed was a huge highlight, she had tons of activities in the shed so we could easily find what we wanted. There were tons of kid life jackets, all organized on hangers. We played croquet and football. The lake was really shallow near the dock, would have been a perfect place for little kids to swim. Since it was Oct, we didn't swim. We also appreciated the firewood that was provided and had a great campfire. Inside was wonderful too. She had lots of games, and puzzles. Even had plug covers if you had little little kids. There were tons of extra pillows and blankets and comforters. We cooked a bunch while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Just note, there isn't a dishwasher. Wasn't a big deal for us, but something to be aware of. Overall, Sara went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and clearly communicated beforehand and during our stay. I would happily stay there again. There's also a surprising amount of things to do in the area. We went to a Friday fish fry at Penny Bar that was delicious. We also really enjoyed the Bears Den petting zoo where you can hold lemurs!!

My family loved our stay! The home had everything we needed plus more. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, and fire pit. We rented a pontoon one day and had a great time cruising around the lake- the water is so incredibly clear! We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again.

Wonderful Location

The property was clean, Sara (host) had amazing recommendations of places to eat, hike and grab some coffee. There is a lot to do in the area. Nice vacation spot!
