The property was spotless well appointed We rode our motorcycles and the owners made room in the garage so we could park them inside We would definitely stay again

Amazing Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. The owner’s are amazing people to work with. All the comforts of home, breath taking view, hostess baked goodies and the set up couldn’t have worked better for our crew. We plan to return again next year.

Perfect spot for family retreat

Had a great time connecting with family. Enjoying the lake front and pontoon boat. Town is only a few minutes away so shopping for dinner groceries is easy. Also, plenty of room to spread out for a little quiet time.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at this home away from home! Loved the lake and kayaks. Fishing was fun and entertaining. The home was great and very clean. The host was very accommodating and has thought of pretty much everything you would need for an amazing vacation getaway! Thank you for our stay!

Family vacation

We had a great time with our sons, spouses and sweet granddaughter. The large yard was perfect for family games and the water was fun for canoeing. The house was set up nicely for our 2 year old.

What a great vacation!

We had a great family vacation with my wife and our kids with my parents and sister. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. There were so many little things that made the stay perfect such as the kayaks, quality bedding, comfy furniture, etc. You can tell this cabin is well-loved and they take pride in it. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much ! The property is charming ,well stocked , clean and tons of space. Weather was perfect , we rented out a pontoon boat which was a great hit ( there is small Island in the middle of the lake where you can park your boat !! we enjoyed our family time in the water ) . Great lake property

It was amazing. Very nice property with a short walk down to the lake. Clean cozy house and outstanding service from the property owner. After this I never want to stay in a hotel again.

Wonderful Lake Home

The property was amazing! So clean & comfortable! We used the grill, patio, kitchen, kayaks & fire pit. Very nice to include firewood and smores supplies also. Loved the lake and pontoon boat as well. Highly recommend!

Nice summer stay on the lake

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The property was a perfect size for our group to spread out on the lower lawn. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. With two days of poor weather we ventured into Milwaukee, a short drive away and enjoyed the city. Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful Lake House retreat on the water and close to Milwaukee.

We enjoyed several days at the Lake House with our children and grandchildren. Love being on the water and access to the 'water toys'. Nearby Whitnall Park had lovely trails, playgrounds and even a Beer Garden! Angie was great to work with.

Lovely spot only 1.5 hours from Chicago

The house is large, accommodating 9 family members (we paid extra for the additional person). The "s'mores box" was a nice touch and we did enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit right near the water. The pontoon boat was a great way to explore the small lake and just anchor so some of us could swim off the boat.

Great get away @ the Lake House

We enjoyed a great 5 day weekend at the lake house. lots of small touches throughout the house to make our stay stress free and fun. Angie gave us the gift of a great space to gather my kids from all around the country and relax. We enjoyed the large outdoor spaces, basketball court, huge grill, fishing, relaxing on the lake, large living room , kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to stay in and cook for ourselves plus all the small touches of the coffee bar and s'mores for the outdoor fire ring.

Fantastic multi family vacation

The lake house was spotless and the most well equipped cottage I've ever had the pleasure to rent and is even better in real life than the pictures. There was tons of space for lots of kids to play, a great fire pit, and good indoor living space. The A/C was so nice with the extreme heat when we were there. The water was low, so the lake was a bit silty, but the kids still had a wonderful time splashing about. Great space for a multi family vacation!

absolutely wonderful

well-stocked with land and water toys....kitchen and gas grill supplies well stocked and user friendly,...fishing off dock was good and allowed 2 fish dinners...grandkids and parents and us hope to be back..owners very responsive....had an issue with the clothes washer that was immediately repaired...greeted with wine and s'more supplies...couldn't be nicer and more thoughtful

Great Family Fun

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. The large yard was great for various yard games. The flowers were beautiful. The house was true to its description. We did miss having a dish washer but we were prepared and brought a lot of paper products. Angie went out of her way to get us a replacement pontoon boat because theirs was needing repair.

Great lake house!

My friends and I had a great time at the lake house at Wind Lake. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, this place is perfect. It’s only about a 1.5 hour drive from Chicago, but still far enough that you can feel like you’re on vacation. The house is super clean and very spacious. We had a group of 6 and we’re able to easily spread out between bedrooms and with the air mattresses provided by our lovely host. We decided to rent the pontoon and got to spend an entire day on the lake, socializing with some locals at the sandbar. Thanks, Angie, for being an amazing host! 10/10 would stay again.

Awesome week on the lake!

Finding a place like this under 2 hours from Chicago is like winning the lottery. The pictures don't do this place justice. It's spacious and clean and in an absolutely beautiful location. The yard was perfect for lawn games and running our dog around and has a perfect campfire spot - s'mores fixings were ready and waiting for us when we arrived, such a nice touch! We rented the pontoon and had an absolute blast hanging at the sandbar which was a really unique experience. Bring your own pillows and some Claritin if you're easily bothered by that kinda thing like me. Also highly recommend nearby Bass Bay Brewhouse for brunch or dinner! Would absolutely love to make a stay at the Lake House on Wind Lake an annual tradition - thanks Angie!

Beautiful lake house - makes you really feel like you’re on vacation

A group of us came to Wisconsin for an Alpine Valley show, a tradition some of the group has been doing for 20+ years. This house was the perfect home base for the trip and slept 8 comfortably. The owners clearly put a lot of love into the home and take care of it well. The grounds are beautiful and the dock/lake access makes for great fun and serene moments. We’ve already got family members wanting the info and so they can book it for themselves. Would highly recommend!
