When you enter this 700 sqf loft, you will find cathedral ceilings, an open living room, dedicated dining area and a fully-equipped galley kitchen. Tucked in the corner you will find a queen bed (with a twin bed on the mezzanine) and a couch that converts into another queen bed.

The loft has been fully renovated with a modern bath including an extra large walk-in shower.

The center of Old Chatham is marked by a few businesses around the intersection of the Albany Turnpike and County Rt. 13. These businesses include the United States Post Office for area code 12136, the Old Chatham Country Store (which includes a cafe/restaurant), and Jackson's Old Chatham House (tavern and restaurant). The Old Chatham Sheepherding Company is also located in Old Chatham. The Samuel Wilbur House, is in the library of Congress.

Amazing relaxing getaway

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a very relaxing time. Finding the place and checking in was easy. The cottage is very beautiful and thoughtfully designed. We also LOVED the shared pool on the property. It's located in a quiet small village with lots of beautiful scenery. Be aware there is a refrigerator, but no freezer; a toaster oven, but no microwave.

We love Old Chatham

The owners ,property and location are amazing.My wife and myself will differently be back. Highly recommend staying here. Ann and her husband Francois couldn’t be kinder and more helpful. Fishing , hiking just so thoughtful, love and peace to them .

A debacle

The proprietors showed us our lodging... the temperature was at least 85 degrees inside and they had no way to lower the temperature.. we tried to stay for a bit to see if their miniature air conditioner would lower the temperature but it did not. They were in denial the whole time... and things went downhill from there, We had to cancel the stay.. find a motel and then went back to DC..... some vacation! They need to find another way to make a living.
