Beautiful location and property! This was such a peaceful start to our vacation! We hope to be back, next year, for the opening of our new friend’s lighthouse that he’s restoring near here. Perfect spot for cooking your own lobsters from Chipman’s! Host was very helpful with anything we needed. The pier was very easy to access and chat with local fisherman. The local people were friendly and helpful with tips and advice. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

This cottage by the sea was a peaceful slice of heaven! It gave us the perfect spot to hike Schoodic nearby and escape the busy Acadia area in the evenings. Bring bottled water! Plan to eat lunch at Chipman's Warf one day. You won't regret it!!!

Jeremy responds very quickly to any messages sent. The sunrises coming up are extraordinary from this house and the setting is very relaxing. Just sit, watch the lobster boats go by as well as the occasional bald eagle. Couldn't ask for a more serene location.

We came in the fall and spent very little time at the cottage because we travelled to see all of what the area and Maine had to offer. I can write a novel and tell everyone how awesome this property is but look at the bulletin points below and book your trip here! If we spent a lot of time here the review wouldn’t be different. Location: great!House: great!Amenities provided: great!Host: Great!View: Amazing!!!I will say don’t focus all of your time on Bar Harbor. We went for a day, loved it and then also saw Winter Harbor (go to the Musquito Brewery), Lebec (eastern most point of the continental U.S.), and even Millbridge (check out 1899 Cafe).

Great place the pictures dont do it justice. The house was really clean and had everything you can possibly need in it. It was quite private and had a great serene view and feeling. The boats on the water was a beautiful touch!!!

The rooms could have been cleaner, we found the air conditioner filter was dirty! The water had tannins that gave it a brownish red tint and it smelled! The house came with a lot nice features, like the towels and sheets! The view of the water was obstructed by a white tent, with the bushes and yard having grown a lot since the picture that is shown. There was talk of seals and eagles, that we never saw! The house is nice, the view of the lobster boats was great going in and out of Jordan’s pier! The town of Milbridge is wonderful!

A short stay before heading home

The space worked well for our family. We particularly enjoyed this area for the closeness to a grocery and a handful of restaurants. The amenities were as advertised and the location was an hour from Acadia.
