This beautiful home is located less than 30 feet from the shore on Narraguagus Bay where one can sit and watch lobster boats, seals, eagles, and take in all of the beauty of life on the ocean.
When you are not enjoying the view and relaxing on the deck, you can enjoy a short drive (45 mins) to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Rogue Bluff, or local hiking. You will never be bored on your vacation!.
While visiting Milbridge you can dine at local restaurants (44 Degrees and the Milbridge House), take a sea tour with a local lobster fisherman, or have lobsters on the deck provided from the biggest and best lobsterman in the area!
The house is set up with a kitchen, entertainment room, a sitting room overlooking the ocean, large deck, 2 master bed rooms ( one with king bed and another with a queen bed), a pull out couch, and a kids room with two twin beds (and another pull out). In additional the house is equipped with all the cooking needs so that you don't have to eat out every night while enjoying the view at the end of the day!
The location is extremely private and off the road with a large lawn so that children have plenty of room to safely play without the concerns of traffic. Located on the property while on a walk to the shore, you will be able to pick Maine Wild Blueberries during the months of July and August.
You will not find a better location in Milbridge or Downeast Maine. Most people will tell you that this is a one of a kind location!
We have recently added a second new house (1 bedroom and loft with 2 kids beds) for extra family and friends. 2nd house is available for rent if you are looking for more room.

Jeremy's house is in a beautiful spot, right on the ocean, in full view of a working waterfront. There are comfy beds, a hot shower, and the kitchen is stocked with the essentials. It's the perfect location to relax and recharge!
Very cozy house.. nice and quite we enjoyed a lot the fire pit. My sons had fun playing with boards games. Everything is close by for food shopping or quick bite.
The property was perfect for us! View of the bay was terrific and we enjoyed it very much! Hosts were very accommodating.

The view from the living room is beautiful. You also look out onto the water from the bedroom. The fishing boats do start up around 5-530 every morning and if you are a light sleeper you definitely will hear them. the water is not accessible from the property unless you are a mountain goat. The furniture in the living room needs to be updated. The price I paid I would have expected a bit more updated and well furnished property. The kitchen utensils could use updating. There was an Alexa there that I did not see in the listing and found 3 days after I had been there. The owner said it was for guest to listen to music. The laundry room has a sign that states the washer is quirky leave the settings exactly as they are and use less soap. I had to wash the towels twice to get the soap out. The drive to Bar Harbor is about an hour and traffic can get backed up, so if you are visiting for bar harbor be aware of that.
We had a great visit here. The location is a perfect gateway for friends or families. We captured a beautiful sunrise and a beautiful sunset. We will definitely come back again.
We loved our stay here. The house looks right out on the water. It was beautiful and so relaxing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a fantastic time staying here in late Sept. Place was clean, quiet, and very homey. Short trip to Schoodic or the main portion of Acadia. Chipmans Warf is fantastic as always.
I am currently the Superintendent of School in Bidderford, ME. The property was owned by my grandfather who once operated a sardine factory in the town of Milbridge. We have been renting this location for the past 4 summers and are currently adding a second cottage to the location so that people can travel with family and friends. My family and friends still live about a 1/2 mile from this location.
Why they chose this property
This property offers a view of working waterfront like no other!
What makes this property unique
The house offers a private setting on a working waterfront. I don't believe you will find a setting like this anywhere else. It is unbelievably close to the ocean and lobster boats.
