Super cute property. We loved the layout of the house and the back porch. It was just about 15 minutes to campus and we had no issue with finding Ubers to/from the property from downtown, even on game day Homecoming weekend!
This property was perfect for our family Chick Trip. Enough room for all 11 adult women. There are bedrooms on the bottom floor so if someone has issues with stairs you are covered. The place was clean and well kept up. Some minor issues like water temperature changing when multiple people showering but that is to be expected in an older home. Communication with the hostess was exceptional and she was even willing to let us check in an hour early which was super helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.
My brothers and sisters and our spouses spent the weekend in Columbia, MO, to celebrate my birthday. Glenn Acres Farm was the perfect fit for all 9 of us. The hostess was attentive, her farm was awesome, and we would definitely stay there again. Due to the weather, we were not able to enjoy the large porch or the fire pit but the house was perfect for celebrating! Thank you!
The house is in a great location that is quiet and has lots of outdoor space, yet close and convenient to Columbia. Everything was as listed and clean. There is enough room for everyone to spread out, including plenty of table space to eat inside and outside. We especially enjoyed the covered porch, although it does have one leak to avoid when it is raining. There are no steps to enter the front door and two of the bedrooms are on the main level, which was great for my mom who has some mobility struggles. Although the bathrooms are small, it was great to have 4 of them. Having 2 refrigerators was a bonus and the kitchen is well stocked with just about all the cookware and utensils needed for meal prep and serving, including a gas grill located on the porch. It is an old house, so with old houses the floors are uneven and the stairs to the second floor bedrooms creak (no one is sneaking up to the second floor). Overall, we had a great family and friends time at the farm and would stay there again!
Charming old house was perfect for our four adults and two more locals who came to hang out during the day. The big newer gathering room / kitchen area is roomy and incredibly inviting with big windows looking out on the horse pastures. Loved every bit of the stay. Would echo another visitor who cautioned about the steep stairs to the second floor. Anyone with mobility concerns can stay in one of the two bedrooms on the first floor. Would definitely stay again!
The house was perfect for our needs. Close to campus, and easy to find. There were plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for our group. There was also room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed.
We were down with some friends for a game. The house was very easy to get to, just off the highway and a short drive to the game. Such a neat house! Old farmhouse vibes all the way. Plenty of space to spread out, we would highly recommend!
Very roomy, yet cozy setting. Loved the kitchen and open living area, where we could all relax together, yet not feel crowded. Loved the large covered back porch, where we had a lovely breakfast.
Visited our son at Mizzou with Grandparents/ Aunt, Uncle and 2 cousins. Glenn acres was exactly what we were looking for. 15 minutes from Campus and Downtown Columbia.
You are just off of I70 but it feels really country. Overall, we had a great experience. The property is old but very well kept and recently updated. We will rent again!
We will 100% stay at this property again! It was perfect for a family/friend get-together! The amount of rooms were exactly what we were looking for since we all have kids. We loved how open the layout was, great space for babies playing together. The fishing pond was a great bonus, one kid was very happy to catch his first fish! Thank you for a great experience on our first vacation together!
Three families with kids between 8 & 18 have made this our annual gathering spot for a weekend. The house has great character and openness. The grounds are spectacular! Katie is great with communication and quick to respond to needs. Highly recommend!
3 sets of softball parents stayed at the house in place of a hotel while our girls played college softball. The house had plenty of space, was clean and although away from the business of town was close enough for groceries, restaurants and any other conveniences you may need. The host was very responsive to our questions and extremely accommodating!
Very nice 1880's farm house with modern kitchen. Great country farm views off the back porch. Only 15 minutes to anywhere in Columbia. We will be back, thanks Katie.
From the time we started communicating with Katie we had an outstanding experience. The grounds, the home, the distance to the University was fantastic. Thank you for an AH-MAZ-ING weekend. 💛🖤🐅
This was my first time planning a family get together and it was a WONDERFUL success!! Glen Acres Farm was a perfect setting for our family to gather after my son’s college graduation. The hostess was easy to get ahold of and helped me plan and organize this May graduation weekend with a kind and calm spirit. Thanks again for providing this wonderful place where we could gather together and celebrate all of my son’s recent accomplishments!!😊
Glen Acres Farm was a wonderful weekend getaway for my family. It was the perfect place to be together with plenty of room to be inside and outside. Everyone enjoyed fishing (and catching), having a s'mores around the firepit, and enjoying laughing at breakfast at the kitchen bar. It was so perfect for us - close to Columbia to attend our family event but peaceful and quiet. We could even invite family out for pizza and enjoying company on a beautiful evening. We highly recommend. Katie was easy and awesome to work with. She answered my text questions and made the rental very easy. We hope to come back and enjoy Glen Acres Farm again in the future.

Nice for large group
Fair place to stay with a larger group. Wouldn’t recommend for older couples. I had my elder parents and aunts and uncles with me and there are no hand rails on the porch steps, the sidewalks are uneven for walking, unsafe for anyone a little unstable.
Bedroom doors don’t all shut and don’t have locks, one bedroom locks from outside only. Door knob fell off when we opened laundry room door. It is an old farmhouse and has country charm but maintenance of property is not evident especially for renting out. Wouldn’t stay again.
