A short terraced walkway connects the Cabin accommodation with a purpose built kitchen, dining, wash house and bathroom. The outdoor deck has a bbq and spectacular bush and stream views .

While only a 6 min drive from central Whangarei, as you enter the section, you'll feel a million miles from anywhere. The Cabin is set beside a pristine stream and surrounded by native bush. It is incredibly quiet and private given its suburban location. The interior of the cabin is minimalist, with touches of luxury. Relax in the super comfy Double bed, watching Netflix, with a view of nature. The Double sofa bed is an ideal place to relax during the day, and sleep on at night. Use as a sofa , or fold down and make up an extra double bed. The loft offers extra storage space,. The outdoor deck has a BBQ and spectacular bush and stream views - the ideal spot to enjoy nature at its very best.
The cabin is set up close to an Apartment (which is also available on Airbnb) but it is in it's own little corner of the property, and completely private, with your own gateway entrance.
The Laundry facilities are shared by the apartment guests.
The garden beside the stream is a delight. The walnut trees provides a cool outdoor living space - and a tranquil place to picnic, sunbathe, read, relax, or enjoy a cool drink on a hot day.
At the end of your day, let nature be your companion. Relax on the deck, fire up the BBQ, and soak up the views of the stream, or relax in the hammock under the stunning night sky.

We have set up the guest accommodation to be self sufficient and independent. It is your own space, we live just a 1 minute walk away.
If we are around you will be warmly welcomed here. We are mostly busy and active so tend to do our own thing allowing you to do the same.

The neighbourhood is quiet, it's rural feeling but extremely central in Whangarei City. If you like an early morning (or evening stroll), the Quarry Gardens are just a 5min walk away, and are truly worth a visit. Head there in the morning for your coffee fix, or breakfast/brunch at the Quail Cafe situated in the gardens themselves.

Your best option for transport here is to have your own car or hire one. There's some nice cafe's and Kensington Sports Park within easy walking distance. But if you'd like to explore the area further a vehicle would be ideal.

We have fast wifi, unlimited broadband and a smart TV with Netflix account as well as access to the local TV channels.
