The Ferry House is a beautiful place to stay and unwind. We had a great time taking in the sights and just relaxing by the river fishing. Eating our meals on the deck was so amazing as you are surrounded by wonderful views and the birds chirping. The house has everything you need and more. The locals are very friendly and up for a chat. The kids loved seeing the dolphins swim up the river.

Great little piece of paradise

Lovely little cottage love the river very piece full fantastic takeaway 5min walk up the road easy drive to multiple beaches great for the dogs

Lovely place

A beautiful countryside setting in Chatsworth Island right on the riverside, suited all our needs, peace and quiet and the house was lovely recommend to everyone

Nice quiet location right on the river, great location for all the family. Could just chill by the river and throw in a line or go for a short drive and enjoy the beach Well equipped cottage, very clean and beds were quite comfortable

Relaxation Heaven

Beautiful relaxing place to unwind and relax. Did some wonderful fishing off the river bank and enjoyed a book on the deck. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Peaceful hideaway.

Lovely cottage on the north arm of the Clarence River at Chatsworth. Easy drives to the coat or back upriver. Great for a quiet holiday.

Amazing riverside retreat!

The property was gorgeous. It was so well stocked with everything to make us comfortable. The river was beautiful, outdoor shady spaces to picnic, love the outdoor bath, great verandah space, beautifully renovated. Just perfect.

The Ferry House, Chatsworth Island

Wonderful stay at the Ferry House came back home so relaxed. Beautiful sunsets, quaint cottage with lots of history and the town folk so friendly. Definitely check out the General Store/Cafe. Had a lovely bacon and egg roll and coffee. Loved to come back again.
