First visit to St John’s
Upon arrival to our destination the building looked ‘tired’ and in need of repair. We had the opportunity to meet the owner on arrival as he was replacing a fridge that was not working. While the owner and staff were pleasant, the penthouse is need of repairs and updating. No question it was a million dollar view and location is about a 10 minute walk to the heart of the downtown. Appliances such as the dishwasher did not work, the sauna eventually had to shut off breaker as it would not shut off and over heated the unit. We also had a circuit that kept tripping the breaker. We did not make use of the hot tub as the area had an infestation of wasps. The owner was attending to this prior to our departure.
Overall this location is in need of some overdue attention and care to return to its full potential.
Lovely spot, just a few blocks up from all the action on Water and George Streets. Be prepared for a steep walk back. Million dollar view of the harbour. The hot tub was a terrific bonus.
Absolutely beautiful view of the Harbour. Short walk to all downtown and amenities!

View was amazing however we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house . From entry (steps) were full of dust and dirt. There was dirty wine glasses and open wine in the shared kitchen area all weekend . we found hair on bathroom floor as well as on bed linens. There was no contact with the owner or operator the entire weekend . I forwarded an email to them on Friday regarding the cleanliness of the apartment and have yet to receive an email in return . Was disappointed in that . However we did enjoy the sauna and hot tub !
We lived in the Penthouse apartment. A well equipped place with an unbelievable view on St. John’s harbour and the surrounding hills.
I would come back any time and can highly recommend the apartment.
