Come enjoy your home away on Capitol Hill. Located on a family friendly block with great neighbors, this apartment is centrally located in one of Washington, DC's oldest and most sought after neighborhoods. With Metro public transit (rail and bus) just 2 blocks away, you have access to explore this great city and get around with ease. At approximately 1000 sq. ft., the residence comfortably sleeps 4.

The apartment is fully furnished. All you need to do is show up.
The bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and box spring
There is a sofa with pullout queen bed in the living room.
The dining room table seats 6.
There are 2 flat screen TVs (living room, bed room) with Netflix, cable channels, and access to local TV.

The apartment is situated within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, numerous museums, restaurants and other attractions (almost all free).
Choose between Potomac Avenue Metro (1 block away) or take an easy 5 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro(rail) or hop on the Metrobus at the end of the block, 13th St, SE. If you are driving, there is public street parking available on the block. (We can provide a visitor's pass)
There is no shortage of restaurants to suit your taste all within a 4-5 block radius on Barracks Row.

Just spent the last few days in this gem in DC. Perfect location, short walk to the metro in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host is very accommodating and very clean . Will def stay here if ever in the DC area again and will recommend to anyone I know traveling to the area!

We stayed here for 6 nights. The apartment was very clean and neat. Super easy access to Metro, no need for a rental vehicle unless you’re planning on leaving the DC area. Great DC location!

This was a fantastic VRBO experience! We did not rent a car for the time we were visiting DC area, and this location was perfect. It’s a short walk to the grocery store, and there’s a metro quite close, which is how we got around. We were here with our two kids, and the area felt very safe. The hosts were easy to communicate with both prior to and during our stay. Overall a great experience!

What a great place, it's was a great location just a shot 30 min ish walk to the capitol building. I was lucky with wonderful weather. The hosts where very nice. An all around great experience.
