A bathroom for every bedroom, a temperature regulated pool, the living/dining room with a five metre high acoustic ceiling, 4 bedrooms across three living zones, full A/C and a large BBQ entertainment deck. The house sleeps 10, with the number of adults limited to six. Without any road separating you from the sea relax. A stroll along the sand to restaurants, bars and Picnic Bays iconic fishing jetty. relax. A round of golf or a walk to a panoramic lookout, enjoy! You will want to stay Beached on Magnetic.

Beached on Magnetic is situated in a relaxed beachfront community and is suitable for couples or families. Beached on Magnetic has no road between you and the beach. That means no traffic noise or parking to obstruct the beautiful view. The entire house is finished to a high standard with lovely furnishings and decorations throughout. A front patio and small pool make the perfect place to enjoy a drink while soaking up the balmy tropical ocean breeze.

This pool is solar heated during the winter months, for all year enjoyment.

This property is professionally managed by Magnetic Island's leading accommodation business Best of Magnetic.

Please note: The bunk room is only suitable for children so the house caters for a maximum 6 Adults and 4 children. Bookings for more than 6 Adults cannot be accepted.

Great place at quiet Picnic Bay

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. Plenty of space to move around with lots of bathrooms. Lovely pool and gorgeous outlook with walking distance to a couple of places - pub, cafe and brewery. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit as I am sure you will also if you book ‘Beached”

Advertised for 10 people not enough plates bowls or tumblers. No cleaning materials - not even spray and wipe.

40th Birthday Getaway

What a beautiful property. Me and a group of friends came up from Brisbane to celebrate my 40th Birthday. We had an amazing time, prime location right on the beach. The house was exactly what we wanted and the property manager was easy to deal with along with easy check in and out. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Great location

The location was excellent however overall cleanliness of the property could of been better (eg cobwebs on lights, dust and a fruit loop on the rug). We were advised about limitations of cleaning staff due to COVID, however this should of been more of a priority for COVID reasons. Also we book for 10 people, however only accommodated for 8 (eg only 8 plates and utensils, only 9 chairs at the table). For the price we paid, we had high expectations for the property which unfortunately we didn’t get. Great location and couldn’t beat the view. Great if your chasing a quiet and relaxation away from the other beaches on Maggie.

Fantastic Location

We recently stayed at Beached on Magnetic and really enjoyed the beach location. Kids were able to scooter on the path out the front, not far to stinger net and coffee! The house is really comfortable and it was great the kids had there own area. Only downfall, the Pool is really small. Love the view and the lights of Townsville at night. We would stay again!

On the beach

It's right on the beach so really easy to enjoy Picnic Bay. We had a full house including children. I thought things were going to be tight but the house is much bigger than we expected. There are three living levels so everyone had their own personal space when they needed it. The pool is small but it's heated which is a real plus. Will definitely come back.

Great location

The house was very clean and presentable. The only thing that was disappointing was that some of the airconditioners didnt work very this including the living room where we spent majority of our time in the house. The living room actually started to leak pools of water and we had to turn it off for the duration of our stay. Also some of the ceiling fans didnt work and the first night we stayed there the main room upstairs both the airconditioner and the fan turned off at 6am in the morning and made the room extremely hot.
