The Corner @ Cowell's Beach is the perfect getaway for your Santa Cruz Vacation. Steps from the sand, this cozy, renovated bungalow will help you relax listening to the waves crash on the shore. The Corner has sleeping for 6: the master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has twin bunk beds and a queen futon. You can access the bathroom from both bedrooms, and the unit has a washer and dryer. The front deck is the perfect place to sip coffee and watch the sun rise or have a cocktail and watch the sun set while watching the waves roll in at Cowell's Beach. There is a $100 cleaning fee and taxes added on to nightly price.

Fantastic location; easy walking distance to beach, pier and Boardwalk. Much quieter than I was expecting (which was great), and great communication with the property owner in advance of the trip. Would definitely book again!

I love old beach cottages and this did not disappoint. Simple but clean and classic. Strong surfing vibe with the Surf shop next door. Kitty corner from the Santa Cruz wharf and just steps away from the beach and boardwalk. It was perfect. Coffee and pastries around the corner on Beach Ave, great Mexican Food at Las Palmas a 2 minute walk up Pacific Ave!

Amazing location! It doesn’t get any better. The parking lot got a little busy at times but it was manageable and well worth it. The only real complaint we had was that the bed in the master seemed realllyyy fragile. We aren’t big people but when we would lay down at night it felt like it was going to break. It also got SURPRISINGLY hot on most days and we were sweatingggg in the afternoon. Other than that we really enjoyed staying here and would stay again!

Comfy beach cottage in prime location

The beach cottage was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Comfortable for the 5 of us. Very convenient to boardwalk and West Cliff Dr. Host gave great recommendations for grocery stores, coffee shops etc. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Fun stay next to Beach

Property was nice inside, Cooled down nice with fans in and doors open. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio while we were on the property. We had 5 in our group and had plenty of room.

Great little property! You are steps away from the Boardwalk and the Wharf. Not too noisy - we slept just fine both nights.

Location, location, location! We rented this cottage to celebrate our daughter's sweet 16 birthday. It was 2 adults and 3 teenage girls. The property was perfect for us. I parked my car on Friday and did not move it until we left. The location is unbelievable. Directly across the street from the Dream Inn and steps from the wharf and beach. Love that we could walk back-and-forth to the boardwalk all day. It's so close. It was quiet, comfortable, and we had everything we needed. I made dinner one night and had every utensil and item required. The pictures on the listing are very accurate. Our host was amazing. She responded to all my messages very quickly. Here's my tips...• It's one pillow per person and no extra blankets so if you are used to extra linens, bring them. Also, no washcloths were provided. • We had issues with 2 of the 3 TVs. So if you're coming to Santa Cruz to hang out and watch TV, might want to reconsider.• We used disposable serveware which was great because there is no dishwasher and there was only a few forks. Would definitely go back. The parking lot in front of the unit was pretty chill. Everyone at the surf shop next-door was nice. It was a delightful experience!

Amazing location, surprisingly quiet!

Given the proximity to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Municipal Wharf, I was worried: would it be loud at night? Nope: we had two very quiet nights. This unit isn't luxurious, but instead super charming: a classic vintage beach shack in walking distance from major attractions. We barely used our car: we walked along West Cliff Drive for the views, walked to Pacific Garden Mall for food, played at the Boardwalk, had beers on the wharf.

Camping in a parking lot

Unappealing location. No place to sit outside except a small deck in the parking lot. House was stuffy and hot at night because we didn’t want to open the windows due to safety concerns about the location.

Close to the beachfront

House was clean. Enjoyed the porch and its ocean views. Definitely get to see the hustle and bustle and surf front living. (We loved the people watching which may not be for everyone). House was short on silverware for 6 as listed (luckily we only had 4 guest and there was enough) would like to have had more toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for use. Be sure to bring some extra or be prepared to buy some more. Over all experience A+. Hope to come again next year.

Adorable & Fun

We loved the cottage. It was clean and had a nice kitchen and pantry. There was a tv in each room. All of the bedding and towels were very good quality, so were the soaps in the shower. The owner included some goodies for us that were delicious and we really liked! The patio was excellent for all kinds of activities: looking at people, sipping coffee, watching the beach, letting kids play, eating—it’s like an outdoor extension of the living room. Finally, the lovely location of the cottage is perfect. You can walk to everything! We had a 4 & 5 year old and had no problems walking anywhere we wanted to go. It’s very centrally located, yet a little out of the way enough to be away from the street noise. We really enjoyed the cottage and would stay again.
