Both directions provide spectacular scenery, historic sights, lookouts where whales can be seen between the months of July through to October.

3mins walk to local general store and pharmacy. 5min walk to Sea Acres National park Rainforest Visitor centre where the adjoining rainforest cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. 4.7km 8min to Port Macquarie town centre. 9.3 km or 13 min drive to airport.

Local activities aside from relaxing and swimming on the beach include scenic river boat cruise, whale watching tour, kayaking, fishing, sea plane, camel rides depending on your level for adventure. Local produce at various markets, coffee, wineries and eating places will satisfy the gourmet traveller.
