Our stay at Carol’s cottage was simply the best! Very quiet, short walk to town for food/restaurants/shopping and a beautiful place to relax after a day of wine tasting or day at the coast. The bed is very comfortable and Carol made sure we had everything we needed for our visit. We will be back!
Everything about the cottage is high-quality. It’s a very nice setting, close walk to town and quiet. The king bed is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was just as advertised. Great location, you can walk to town, but the location is in a very quiet neighborhood. The property was very clean and obviously well cared for. There were lots of those little touches that make for a really nice stay. Carol was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again:)
Property was super cute and clean with everything we needed. Located within walking distance to grocery store and local restaurants. Carol was super the whole stay. Would stay there again for sure

Great couple getaway in Sonoma
Lovely cottage that was clean and comfortable. It was in a wonderful neighborhood that was walkable to town.
We loved this little one bedroom accommodation. It had everything we needed - a comfortable bed, a great bathroom, a cute small yet complete kitchen and a great living area. Carol was a terrific host and was readily available to help with anything you might need. The walkability to downtown was great and the proximity to all the wonderful things to do in the area can’t be beat. Highly recommend and would definitely book here again.
The property is gorgeous. House is clean, chic, current, well stocked and had the best coffee! Great location. Quiet area. Really enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to friends and most certainly be back. Thank you!
My daughter and I spent a long weekend in the cottage. Our host was available and made certain everything was ready for a very comfortable stay. We flew into Santa Rosa and rented a car. The cottage is located close to Main and downtown. The coast and redwoods are just a short drive, making the location excellent.

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely!!
We loved everything about this sweet and well cared for abode. A very special place. We will stay again. Carol, our host, is the best - can't say enough wonderful things about how comfortable and cozy our stay was.
We have stayed here before and remember how lovely the home and neighborhood was to stay. Carol is very nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. You can walk to the dining areas and a quick, easy drive of 20 minutes or so will get you to Doran Beach. We plan on coming back as often as we can.
The cottage was even nicer than it appeared to be in the photos on the Vrbo website. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, the shower was perfect, and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Carol was a terrific host. She provided clear instructions and suggestions of things to explore. The neighborhood is lovely and accessible to most everything in Sebastopol. It was a great area for walking, too.
The unit was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Off street parking was available with a shared driveway. Our host Carol was most generous with her time and attention to our requests. We can recommend this property for either short or longer stays. No shortage of wineries and fine dining in this small town.
Private space, nice and quiet. Beautiful gardens. Carol is welcoming and accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back! The space of 600 sq feet felt great for two people. Washer and dryer a plus!

A lovely and fantastic stay in Sebastopol.
Carol is a gem and very sweet host. The home is very clean and will stocked. The home is easily within walking distance to Whole Foods as well as other restaurants. The home is quiet and location is perfect. This is our second stay and we are already planning our third.
A wonderful location to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely be coming back!We loved the cottage’s central location in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to the downtown area and an easy drive to the coast. The secluded cottage has a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room (great for movie watching), a desk with everything one could want, and an intimate, warm bedroom with lovely linens. Carol was attentive and quick to respond to messages, ensuring we had what we needed, but always mindful of our privacy. We are so fortunate to have found this place, and to have met Carol as our host!

Lovely Little Cottage
The cottage was very cozy and lovely. Carol did a great job and maintaining it. My 3 yr old really loved the experience. He said "this is a nice place to live mama :)". Wish we could spend more time exploring Sebastopol.

Cottage review
A great place! We were impressed with the nice decor, lovely location and quiet area. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need including nice wine glasses. There's a great shower, fluffy towels and linens that you would get at a nice hotel. The hostess is very accommodating and pleasant. Overall, a wonderful time.

Oasis in Wine Country
Spent a night here while visiting friends and wine tasting in and around Sonoma. Carol has created a beautiful space to relax and unwind. One of the nicest beds I've ever slept in! And a great and functional kitchen - always a nice surprise!
Sebastopol is a great town with many restaurants within walking distance. Loved this place and can't wait to come back and visit.

very well maintained
We had a very good experience at this property. The space was quiet, with lots of room, comfortable furnishings that were well designed. Everything was easy to use and the location was very convenient for walking into the downtown area. The hostess was friendly and helpful. All these factors made for a very comfortable stay away from home. 10/10 A definite good option for the Sebastopol region.

A great stay in a great town!
The house was great and Carol was as pleasant as could be. We had a great time in Sebastopol!
We enjoyed some wine tasting in the area and checked out the Barlow. Make sure you stop at the Village Bakery for a breakfast sandwich. It will change your life...SO GOOD!
Thanks for everything Carol.

About the host
Hosted by Carol
Carol has always lived in northern California. She recently retired and enjoys hiking, biking and gardening. She is easy going and enjoys people. In this photo Carol is in her garden
Why they chose this property
Carol moved to Sebastopol because of the small town charm, the Mediterranean climate and the close proximity to the ocean and to San Francisco.
What makes this property unique
It is an easy walk from the cottage to the many excellent restaurants and unique shops in town. There is also the new Barlow Center, wine tasting rooms, 3 brew pubs, the alternative Rialto Cinema. Around the corner of the cottage are a parade of creative sculptures on Florence Avenue by Patrick Amiot. His art is a town treasure.
