House was great for our five man “Guys Weekend”. Plenty of places to eat nearby, house is in nice quiet area. Kitchen and laundry were super handy. Host was friendly and responsive.

This home was perfect for our group attending a friends wedding at Mildale Farms wedding venue nearby. The host made it extremely easy for booking, check in and checkout. I would very highly recommend this property.

Because of the many positive reviews, we were so surprised and disappointed by the issues we encountered. A search for towels in the bathrooms revealed mouse droppings in cabinets of two bathrooms and a large patch of mold in one of the cabinets. There were also mouse droppings under the kitchen sink and under a dresser in a bedroom that smelled strongly of mouse. The ceiling in another bedroom had a very large, discolored area of water damage. None of the reviews I saw mentioned the frequent trains all night. They didn't sound their horns very often (thankfully), but the tracks are close by, so just be aware. The second night, a skunk sprayed just outside our bedroom, and the smell made it hard to sleep. I don't fault the host for the trains or skunk, but the mouse droppings, mold, and water damage are serious concerns that need to be addressed and not just covered up. Joyce was quick to reply when we reached out and sent pictures of the problems. Aside from all that, the house is spacious for large groups, and the location is good.

Although we couldnt find the issues you described, we did give you a refund. We do have a pest control company who comes quarterly to treat any bugs or mice, Ive contacted them about your complaints . I saw no proof of these issues. We were there within 30 minutes after you left and smelled no skunk. You’re right, the train makes no noise because its over 1/4 mile from our house and its illegal now for them to honk a horn within Gardner city limits. Your booking says 3 people will be there but you then asked if you could invite 3 more to share the cost, we said yes. Again, Im sorry for your experience.

Our host was easy to communicate with and very nice! The house was spacious, larger than expected with comfortable pillows and beds. Plenty of towels and ready for us to enjoy! The location was well situated for hopping on and off the highway without hearing it! Would stay again!

Location for us was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Shower water was Hot. Lots of towels, blankets and kitchen utensils. House could use some updating.

Very spacious house with a really nice kitchen and a great master bathroom. Lots of room for kiddos to play out back and the location is close to stores and restaurants. Owner was communicative and the check-in/checkout process was very simple.

May Wedding

Very spacious home, comfortable, clean and close to downtown. It was within walking distance to our family whose son was getting married. The 3 bathrooms were great for us to all get ready for the special day. Would recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy their stay!

Lots of room for large families or groups to spread out with 5 bedrooms all with queen mattresses except the master bedroom with a king mattress. Feels like you’re staying at your grandma’s house, with most parts of the house relatively unchanged since it was built. It’s a little bit musty, and could use ceiling fans, better WiFi, and a better TV, but the abundance of space helps to make up for those minor downfalls.

Great Family Stay

Clean, spacious older home that has been remodeled well. Great kitchen with new appliances. Fabulous master bath! Beds are super comfy. Close to train tracks, but noise was very minimal. Huge yard! Plenty of off-street parking and close to restaurants, grocery and drugstore.
