Lake access minutes away at Henry Creek lock. 3 bedroom 2 bath 1 car garage with screen room home with private boat ramp and dock on rim canal. Two living areas, grill, ab machine, washer, dryer, internet, and cable. Card and bumper pool table, huge backyard. King Size bedroom with Tv & Cable, Queen size bed with Tv & Cable, Double size bed and Queen air mattress if needed. Two bathrooms, one with tub and shower, one with shower. Okeechobee is one of the best bass fishing spots in the world. It is also known as the Speckled Perch Capital of the world. The Speckled Perch festival is held every March. Okeechobee is the gateway to south Florida with easy access to coasts and central Florida. 45 minutes to beaches in Fort Pierce, 60 minutes to world class shopping in Palm Beach, 90 minutes to Orlando theme parks, and 50 minutes away from Brighton Seminole Casino. Short drive to Spring Training in Port St. Lucie.

Annual Fishing Trip

This was our 4th year staying at this property for our annual fishing trip. The house is well stocked and is very comfortable. Even has a fish cleaning table in the back yard that we took full advantage of.. Karen is a fantastic host and is very responsive to any questions. Will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect place for fisherman

Great vacation

This stay was our third visit and it has been consistently A-1! Each year has become harder to leave as it is a home away from home. The fishing on the private dock is a big draw for us as is the view from either of the two full length Florida rooms. From the comforts within the home to the beautiful outside surroundings it leaves us looking forward to our next visit.

Easy living on the canal

We were absolutely happy with everything at this house. There was no let down the place was clean and very well taken care of. Lots of room inside and out. Fishing off the dock was very good and relaxing on the screened in porch was a big hit. The hosts were great and I would recommend it and plan on returning next year for another fishing trip with friends

Elite Series Tournament

Myself and 4 other competitors stayed for the Bassmaster Elite Series event on Okechobee. TONS of parking and room for boats. No issues at all. Karen was amazing and made our stay perfect. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the area!

Love it!

This was our second stay at this property and was every bit as wonderful as our first. The screened porch with the view of water, boats and wildlife is my favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee. My husband spends hours of fishing off the dock. Everything you could need is here; you only need to bring your clothes! Our experiences here are greater than a home away from home and we are already looking forward to our third stay.

We have used VRBO all over the world and this place is top shelf. Karen has everything you need and signs everywhere to help you fully enjoy your time there. The boat ramp is safe and sturdy and with the one car garage I just pulled my boat each day and put it in the garage - AWESOME no hauling gear back in forth everything locked up tight. Well stocked for cooking, a fish cleaning table, great grill and firepit make for a great place to stay. And did I mention "We will be back!"

Beautiful house with some of the most breath taking sunsets

The house was very clean it was much bigger then I expected all the beds were comfortable and I stay in Vrbo’s all the time but I must say this one had the most kitchen essentials I have ever seen. I always bring the special pans I need to cook with but I didn’t even use what I brung with me for the first time ever. I will be returning to the home to rent again. Also the sunsets are to die for they were absolutely beautiful. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen's home. Clean, comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and grill worked great. Sun Room was amazing; perfect place to relax, catch up with friends and family. Boat Dock was perfect for our 19 ft boot, and the public boat ramp is close by, just across from the Lock. Karen was a top-notch host; responded immediately to our few questions (not many needed to be asked because property is well described in listing).
