About this property

Where the green trees meet the blue seas! Short walk to the beach & pet friendly

This cheerful Duck cottage is an easy 6 minute walk to our well maintained neighborhood beach. Located on a private tree lined lot, our cottage is surrounded by all things nature. It’s the perfect place to relax and watch birds or to enjoy the sunshine on one of the decks. The upper level living room is filled with natural light and large windows making it a great place for entertaining. The screened in porch is a comfortable place to enjoy your favorite evening beach beverage or coffee in the morning. The lower level features 3 bedrooms and a sitting room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, private bathroom and access to the back deck. The 2nd bedroom features a queen size bed with access to the back deck as well. The 3rd bedroom offers a twin over full bunk bed. If the beach isn’t enough to entertain you, we have flat screen TVs located in the main living room and sitting room. We also offer free WIFI, games, bikes, corn hole, carts, dog beds/bowls, a bbq and much more! Please take care of our home and we’ll take care of you! Come see all that Duck has to offer!

Second summer in a row that we have stayed here. It is a perfect little get away that you can make as lively or relaxed as you need. Close to all that OBX has to offer, but tucked away the noise. The beach is just a short walk and is not crowded. This year the weather was perfect for the entire week. What a pleasant gift! Can't wait for next summer!

The property was just as described and absolutely perfect! Secluded while still close to everything with easy access to the ocean and lovely nature trails. The location made it ideal for traveling either direction for activities or shopping. We definitely would return and hope to visit again soon!

This pet friendly property exceeded expectations. The owner was very responsive to my communications and the house was even more spectacular in person. The detailed instructions and suggestion on the fridge answered most of our questions and the short walk to the very uncrowded beach was ideal. The house is in a shady area away from the hustle bustle while offering access to all of the fun. It even satisfied my two finicky teenagers who loved the bedrooms with larger than single beds. If it wasn’t a 12 hour drive, we would be visiting twice a year. Definitely a hidden gem!

Wonderful home and vacation

Second time staying was as good as the first

We last stayed here 2 years ago and our return trip this year was just as good. The house is clean and well stocked. The location is the best part of the house. It is super quiet and away from the over crowded areas. Very easy walk to the beach.

Overall, comfortable, spacious, charming beach home. Great large kitchen well-stocked for preparing meals with very nice added touches (e.g., chilled wine glasses). Large living and ding rooms for relaxing after a day at the beach. Comfortable beds, nice beach decor, and plenty of decks and screened-in porch. Peaceful neighborhood and a short walk from the beach. Wonderful beach stay.

Excellent stay in Outer Banks

We had a wonderful time in the Outer Banks and really enjoyed Carri's house. The booking and follow up were easy as the owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is very comfortable in a great location. It has a well stocked kitchen so cooking is a breeze. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
