This is a perfect place for a quiet getaway type vacation. Beautifully designed and well kept, clean place. The patio /deck has a beautiful view of sunrise over the mountains and the valley which can be enjoyed over coffee. The owners have thoughtfully well stocked the place with household items, utensils and such. There was no need to make quick runs to the stores. Appreciate the quick responses from the property manager. The driveway is quite steep - not for the faint hearted.

Beautiful home & location!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The view from the deck was the most majestic mountain view we have ever had. The cabin was beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this home!

Had to move to a cabin lower because of weather. And the move to cabin was terrible! Pool table beat all to heck. Fireplace would not work. Broken blinds. Never again!!!

Please note the comments are not reflective of this home. Guest was not able to access this location due to snow and was moved to a cabin lower in the valley. I'm very sorry you were not pleased with the cabin. Please know we try to accommodate your needs and offered to cancel booking or change dates. Again, our apologies you didn't have the stay you wanted.

Beautiful Property-Exceeded Expectations

The home is highly functional (lots of fun with hot tub and game room), very close to Asheville and Cataloochee Ski Area, and has absolutely breathtaking views...deck faces East for amazing Mountain sunrise views. Home was very well equipped...truly needs nothing. The way up the mountain is a bit challenging with hairpin switchbacks...if going during the winter, recommend 4WD.

Hurricane Helene

We unfortunately were not able to stay at the cabin due to it being inaccessible after Hurricane Helene. The host was gracious enough to refund our money. So I in turn give 5 stars to help promote business. Hopefully we can try again next fall.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is very nice with a great view. It has a good sized game room for the kids and adults. Probably due to being shut down from Covid-19, we had a few issues. The worst being the ant infestation. They were everywhere, in the bathrooms, bedrooms, crawling up walls, in the beds. We were killing about 30-50 per day. Aside from that, we had a great stay

Thank you for your recent stay in our cabin. We appreciate your feed back on the home. We do strive to have good quality homes with services that make our guest feel at home and have a great experience. We do have our homes serviced thru a pest control company. However, due to recent rains it some times does drive the ants in lower areas. With a phone call we usually can have the issues serviced and treated same day. We apologize that you had to deal with our mountain critters and hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Premier Team

6/10 Okay

Beautiful view. Not the Best Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a pretty cabin with a beautiful view. Things just didn’t align for us on this trip. 1. There was a guy painting the deck on the porch when we arrived at our scheduled time. He said he was finishing up but stayed for 3.5 more hours before he and his helper and their dog left the porch. It was awkward. Then we couldn’t enjoy the porch because of the wet paint. 2. The basement smelled terrible. Maybe mold/mildew or maybe a dead mouse in one of the locked closets or something. But it was terrible. We didn’t make anyone sleep in the room downstairs. The mildew made the bed linens damp and the smell was gross so we just all stayed upstairs. 3. Their are smart tvs everywhere but the internet didn’t work so we couldn’t enjoy that. The basic cable worked upstairs so at least that worked. The downstairs tv in the play room never worked at all.4. The refrigerator breaker blew on Saturday over night so all of our food for Sunday morning breakfast wasn’t good. We just threw it out. 5. The amount of random decor and Nick-jacks everywhere make it hard to say it feels very clean. It wasn’t filthy - but it’s hard to keep anywhere clean with random small objects and decor everywhere you look. Hot tub was great. View was beautiful. Property manager was helpful.

I agree wholeheartedly that the handyman should not have been there when you arrived. While he reported that someone in your party told him to "go ahead and finish", he should not have put you in that position. The owner is willing to make a partial refund for your inconvenience. Please contact me directly to discuss. Unfortunately, this is the first time I am hearing about the smell in the basement. The house is located in a wooded area, so occasionally a mouse manages to get inside. If you had notified me upon your arrival, I would have had someone come and remove the dead mouse and sprayed to remove the odor. Unfortunately, the only cable provider in that area has had service issues. During your stay the internet service provider (ISP) was upgrading their equipment, which caused random outages. As stated in your contract, we cannot guarantee the availability of amenities that we do not control. As you mentioned, there are six smart TVs throughout the house, which you could have used with your phone's hot spot if you wanted to stream a movie. I have no explanation for what would have caused a breaker to trip, as there have been no other reports of such incidents. We will have an electrician check the wiring. I have to completely disagree with you on this point. The owners have the house thoroughly cleaned regularly, which includes wiping down the nick knacks and other decor. Perhaps the decor was not to your liking, but it was definitely not dirty. We do appreciate your feedback and your business. We strive to make all guest experiences pleasant.

Melissa was great to work with. This is a great place to spend with family and friends. Wife and I enjoyed setting on deck watching the sun come up in the morning and grilling in the evening while overlooking the valley below with a cold beverage. The temperature stayed around 66deg at the cabin which made it that much better. (we left 98 deg in LA). God willing, we will be going back. Thanks
