Paul was very communicative and pleasant to work with. The condo is perfectly located to access the beach and has views of both the ocean and the sound. With the indoor and outdoor pools, there were activities available for every day of our stay no matter the weather.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Winds! The host was wonderful and communicated very well! The house was clean and welcoming with beautiful views of the ocean and the outdoor pool. We were able to enjoy some time on the beach, which is a nice extra for November. The hot tub was awesome. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and arcade area. The kitchen was fully equipped, lacking nothing. The grounds were clean and safe. Staff was very kind. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely return and we recommend this to anyone wanting to visit this area! We fished in the ocean and the fish were bountiful as well…overall, we had a WONDERFUL stay!

You cannot beat the views. From the condo you can see the sound and the ocean sides. The complex has great pools and the ocean access was easy to navigate even with small children.

Entry door number hard to see..need larger numbers.Shower doors weren’t cleaned very well.There were no blankets for those who were cold.Consider a lamp in front bedroom.A lot of sand found underneath chair next to TV.Rug in living room curls at edges..safety concerns.No light over stove to cook.Understand, we’re a group of women over 70.

Amazing view, plenty of space, & easy beach access

My family had an awesome time! There were 10 of us in the 4 bedroom condo and, surprisingly, we all felt like we had plenty of room. The view was amazing from the room and we could just walk out to the pool and the ocean. The washer and dryer was a bonus too! I would definitely come back to this condo to stay and recommend it to others.

Sunshine during tropical storm

Property and nearby amenities had everything needed to keep us and kids busy when beach or ocean not available. Enough sleeping space for our party which likes its room. I was worried that views in add were taken elsewhere, but was pleasantly surprised with living room and balcony views of pool and ocean. Would definitely consider again for next beach ttip.

A nice find!!

We had a great family trip! Everything worked out well and was perfect. Our unit had what we needed and was clean. The host was easy to reach. We really liked the location and the resort’s amenities too. Seeing the water out of every window not to mention the view overlooking the pool out to the ocean was a plus! A very nice find!

The property was outstanding! There was enough room for my wife and six children.The property manager Mr. Powers was great. We only encountered a hiccup when first arriving. the issue was resolved at that moment.

Nice view of pool and ocean !

Showers were not clean when we arrived- I cleaned myself. Bathrooms are tiny - no counter space for 8+ people - had to Keep all personal stuff in rooms and take to and from. Otherwise condo is updated, nice decor in Summer Winds. Need to wear wristbands at all times (security guards are relentless). Nice pools and close walk to beach !

Beautiful condo, lots of room and breathtaking view!

We really enjoyed our stay in this updated condo. We have stayed in other units but this was by far the most beautiful unit at Summer Winds. There was plenty of room for our family with the four bedrooms and spacious layout. The views are incredible and we enjoyed sitting on the large balcony. The entire process for reservations and check in was easy and Paul the owner was wonderful to work with. He personally called to make sure we had all the info days before our arrival. The condo was stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and kitchen items. We will definitely book this unit again.

Fantastic Getaway

Overall, this place was great for my family for Easter weekend. It had great views from the two big rooms (1 master room had the ocean view and the other big room had the inlet/sound view) and the place was easy to find with things to do with the family. But let me brag on the host. Paul was a very, out of the way communicator. The unit had just been repainted and had a few spots of drywall dust, the ac unit went bad and the coffee machine had a broken power button. I was able to text and call Paul about all of it and he was very helpful about it and went out of his way to assist us. He had an hvac guy looking at the unit on Good Friday and venmoed me money to replace the coffee machine.Overall, it was a really good weekend, really good accommodations, fully stocked unit (like fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies), the table for 8 was amazing and my family is looking to go back in the future!

Great location

The location is great. The amenities are wonderful to have with two small kids. The apartment has been renovated, but is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. With two toddlers, I had to clean the floors because there was still random hairs and food stains. The shower still had hairs left from the previous guests. The mildew is also unsightly. The kitchen is nicely stocked but everything had to be washed again and there is food crumbs in all the drawers. The pots smelled and had residue from whatever was cooked in them before. The towels still had hair tangled into them. I’m sure it’s very hard to maintain property with frequent guests. A deep cleaning and maybe new cleaners is recommended. We did not contact the owner with this as an issue as we were only staying a few days and there isn’t much to remedy a bad cleaning job. We enjoyed the beach and location, but wish we didn’t have to clean it feel uncomfortable upon arrival. It’s sad to see a great place not maintained well. I decided to write this review for families who may be traveling with small children. Also, an outside dinner table for the patio would be a wonderful addition to the rental.

Perfect stay and outstanding host!

This condo on the beach was wonderful! Beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The kitchen was amazing as were the living room and all the bedrooms and baths. Beautiful view of the beach which was just steps away. It was the perfect place for a week long stay. Mr. Powers even went above and beyond for us after our stay. We realized we had left clothes in the dryer a few days after our stay and Mr. Powers and the guests staying after us graciously arranged to have our belongings gathered up, packaged and mailed to us. We were amazed that he and others went to so much trouble for us. They took the time and trouble to make sure we received what we had left behind. We highly recommend this condo and the host, Mr. Paul Powers.
