Large, sunny penthouse flat with contemporary interior design. South Facing with huge terraces overlooking the ocean. Great location which is a short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants, shops and town center. Various resort facilities including pool, tennis courts, golf, bicycle/kayak/SUP rental and spa are all nearby and reasonably priced. You will be walking distance from everything in this small, charming village, yet removed from the noise and traffic of the towns’ center. The flat is equipped with a professional chef’s kitchen, large bedrooms and living areas, and the main terrace offers lounging furniture, outdoor sofa and chairs, an electric awning, and gas barbecue. Master bedroom has a separate smaller terrace, and a third private balcony is located off the main living area. This is the perfect spot for a family vacation or honeymoon.

*We provide if needed, portable crib, highchair and booster seat as well as table games, books etc.

Wonderful stay, beautiful view, loved the balconies and the awning made it possible to sit outside comfortably all day in August. The kitchen had all the necessities and the market is a 4 min drive. Overall great stay, only reason for a 4 is the community pool was closed. The beach was lovely!

Relaxing time in Algarve

We were lucky to stay at this spacious, tastefully decorated apartment with a pretty views from the each window/balcony (5 of them). We enjoyed walking down to the beach and town with many very good restaurants. Our only regret was that we booked our stay for 3 days only.

We couldn’t ask for a better experience. The host Esp was such a sweetheart, she would reach out to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. Also, Esp would give us suggestions on where to go to eat and visit, her apartment is exactly how you see them on VRBO, it was very cozy and beautiful, the view from the balcony was to die for. Loved that the beach was only 10 minutes away on foot. The beach was amazing as well, very clean and had everything you needed, bar, restaurant, ice cream parlor and shops. I highly recommend spending a vacation in Lagos- Praia da Luz and renting this beautiful apartment. Trust me you will love it as much as we did.

Great and spacious !

We loved Praia da Luz , and the apartment was a great place to stay. Spacious , very functional and impeachable. Espe was a great host and took care of any little question that we had. It’s a great location for families with kids.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with a view

We where pleasantly surprised with the place, the cleanness, size, comfort, and stunning views from every room definitely made the stay! Just minutes walk to the beach, shops and local restaurants. Amazing stay

Jim and Espe’s place is even better in person than in pictures. The ocean views from every room were truly beautiful. The deck was large and very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the unit to for our family to spread out, and town and the beach were a short, easy walk. The area is quiet, and the apartment was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and check-in procedures were smooth and easy. I highly recommend renting this place!

Within 1/2 mile walk of a couple great restaurants and the beach (highly recommend the Latitude). Plenty of living space between living room and back deck. The twin beds were definitely very hard beds; ought to be updated. All in all, we had a fabulously great stay.

Great spot in Luz!

We just stayed for a couple days this spring. The location is easy to get to, and the view of the town and ocean from the porches is a great way to wake up and enjoy your breakfast. It’s a little walk to beach but very easy drive if you can find parking (we had no issues but in peak beach season could be a challenge). The place itself is very spacious with nice living rooms and porches. We had a great trip, loved the day, and would go back next time we are in Luz!

Sea Breeze Perfect

Great accommodations that are only a stones throw away from the beaches. It is a short walk down to the coastline to view breathtaking emerald seas. There is a great lineup of restaurants that came recommended by the hosts. The condo was spacious with great views. The owners reached out and assisted us every step of the way answering any questions we had.

Best ever condo with view snd lots space

The host was top notch with quick and professional responses. The unit was very clean and meet all our needs for two couples. The A/c was excellent in each room. The views were amazing and we loved the short but hilly walks to and from beach . We appreciated the extras like soap and shower gel. Our only suggestion would be to have slightly bigger beds and mattresses could be refreshed/new ones for optimal comfort. Otherwise we would recommend this property and would defintely go back there!

perfect stay

It could not have been better. The three bedroom was roomy, airy, bright, well supplied, beautifully furnished and best of all was the convenient location that included beautiful views. We spent our first full day exploring the little town and enjoying the beach and all the surroundings, restaurants and bars included! Day two we went to Lagos, really only 10 minutes away, and explored the cliffs and caves from above in the morning and took a two hour boat tour through the caves and grottos in the afternoon. What an adventure! We were sorry to leave but are looking forward to Monsanto and the Duro Valley. Thank you James and Esme.

Vacation in Paradise

We just finished an absolutely fantastic vacation in Portugal's Algarve coast staying in Espe's and Jim's apartment. As advertised each room did have ocean view and the apartment had a big enough balcony to enjoy the outdoors and watch the sun rise. The apartment provided all utensils and cooking ware needed and was plenty equipped. Espe and Jim were super responsive and very proactive communicating with us. Any questions asked were answered within hours. We received lots of valuable ideas what to visit and enjoyed the closeness to the beach and promenade restaurant's. Family Trip to Luz

We ended our trip to Portugal in Luz. We loved the small town. It had plenty of restaurants and grocery stores and a large, beautiful beach. It was so peaceful after being in Porto and Lisbon. The apartment was perfect and matched the description. The views from the main large deck are better than in the pictures. There's plenty of seating on the deck and the deck furniture was very comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants and a short drive to Lagos. We spent two days just lounging at the beach. The apartment is very well furnished with fully furnished kitchen, and it was so nice to have beach towels provided. Loved having a bathtub/shower combination in one bathroom. The bathroom in the main bedroom was very beautiful with a large shower. Loved having AC in all rooms although we didn't need use it that much. The hosts, Espe and Jim, were very responsive to any questions and provided lots of information about the area including day trips and restaurant recommendations. Loved the binder with all the information. Our family had the most amazing stay in Luz. We highly recommend staying in this apartment and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Espe and Jim for providing such a wonderful place to end our trip.

Beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful penthouse apartment in Praia da Luz. The apartment has been updated with modern infrastructure, flooring and fixtures. It has a beautiful kitchen with modern appliances and cabinetry, accompanied by modern furniture in all rooms. Beds are comfortable and bedding is high quality. It is tastefully decorated making for a very comfortable stay. The entire apartment was spotlessly clean and neat on arrival. The view from the balcony overlooking Luz and the shore is beautiful and a wonderful place to enjoy some sun and relaxation. Everything worked flawlessly in the apartment and check in was a breeze. The photos don’t do the apartment justice; it is more beautiful and larger than the pictures show. We were four adults and had lots of room for our stay. It is located in a quiet area with only a short walk to restaurants, grocery store and beach. The Host is very responsive and provided friendly, courteous communications throughout the entire process; with valuable guidance and suggestions for our visit. Simply put, she was amazing to deal with. Thank you, very much, Espe! In some twenty years of renting properties on VRBO in various parts of the world including a prior visit to Portugal, this property, together with the Host, is one of the top two or three properties we have ever rented through VRBO. We would return to this property again, without a doubt, and highly recommend it to other visitors.
