Fantastic property in a superb position in a quiet but central location within Luz.All bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, with the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining leading out onto a great balcony with room for 8 people.Air con in the bedrooms was a bonus, and the electric security shutters kept the whole property cool..Will be returning as soon as possible 10/10

The apartment was very close to the beach and good restaurants. It was very hot and there is no air conditioning on the top/living floor and so very hot. The garbage disposal is quite close on one side and it is loud when people deposit garbage and when the bins are being dumped. The key situation was a little tense at one point as the door would not open. Libby who manages the place was very helpful.

Yes I gather it was exceptionally hot and normally people keep the shutters down to keep the house cool but I arranged for extra fans for you to use upstairs which I understand helped. This property is exceptional. The view was to die for and we had everything we needed to have a wonderful week with our daughter and her husband who traveled from Germany to meet us. The villa was a short walk to the incredible beach with the dramatic backdrop of Rocha Negra rising out of the sea. We walked to the market and Ocean Padel Club. We were glad we didn't bother renting a car- didn't need it. Thank you for sharing your lovely villa with us! We will be back.

I stayed in this wonderful villa for 8 nights with my family earlier this month. It was highly recommended to me by a family member with great taste so I was confident that I would love it. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. Booking, communication, check-in & check-out was seamless. The hosts, Nicholas & Susan, take great pride in their home and endeavour to make sure their guests are very comfortable. We appreciated their attention to detail & care. The property management team are very responsive, pleasant & helpful. The villa is clean, spacious & fully equipped. The remodelled bathrooms & kitchen are lovely. We absolutely loved the balcony with a view of the sea. The villa is a short walk to the grocery store, restaurants, bars, boardwalk & best of all, the gorgeous beach. Praia da Luz is a safe and lovely beach community in the Algarve. I hope to return one day!

Great place!

My family of 8 stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it was a perfect location and perfect set up. The safety gates kept the baby safe and the housekeeper was very responsive!

The property was so beautiful and the location was amazing! The views of the ocean as well as ease to walk to the beach was amazing. The property itself was super well maintained and enjoyable we loved our stay here! We also brought our 2.5 year old so the baby gates already set up as well as highchair were also really helpful!

Gorgeous Home and Great Location!

We had such an amazing time staying at this property in Luz. The check in process was super easy, Susan was great to communicate with, we were right by the beach, lots of cute local shops and restaurants, I also loved the natural light the home provided and all the outdoor space. We can't wait to go back!

Family Reunion

My partner and I along with my daughter and two grandkids had a wonderful time in Luz. The condo just could not have been better...close to the beach and town and some fantastic restaurants. We loved it!

Simply Fabulous!

What a beautiful villa, and located in the perfect spot! We could walk everywhere. The view from our balcony was magnificent. Our host, Susan was awesome. She was very informative, Giving us lots of local tips and helpful information. We had a fabulous trip, and would definitely return and rent here again.

Wonderful in every way!

What a perfect place to stay while we explored beautiful Luz! The views could not have been more gorgeous, every detail was thought of and both the owner and property manager were so helpful, thank you! A (very!) late check out was even offered to my dad who had a much later travel schedule than we did. So kind and thoughtful! The beach was so nice for swimming and so close. We enjoyed all of the cute restaurants nearby. Would love to make it back again someday, many thanks for an amazing first time adventure!

The residence, Luz, Algarve - what's not to like?

This residence is exactly as advertised, and when we visited in late April everything in the area was uncrowded and serene, although most restaurants (and there are many of high quality) seemed busy. The owner is very responsive and helpful, and has done extensive work to ensure her home is contemporary, secure, comfortable and well functioning. It is a mystery to us why the town of Luz with its beautiful beach does not appear in more guidebooks. It is a dream place to stay, and very affordable.

Relaxing and great kocation

Very nice accommodations and location. We booked for three bedrooms and did not use the fourth. The housekeeping company stopped by the morning after we arrived and went through the basics about the apartment and was very helpful in answering our questions. The book of information was extensive. Well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to restaurants (definitely go to Zazu!) and the market. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Superb location and lovely villa

The absence of an Airbridge had put our holiday at risk but we decided to go anyway. We were so pleased we did. The villa is immaculate and superbly located 5 mins walk to both the beach and the nearest supermarket. Lunch for six on the balcony with a sea view and canopy to shade us was very special. Our flights in and out had both been changed but the owner was very understanding and allowed us to change and increase our stay without charge. We couldn’t fault the villa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in it and at Praia da Luz.

Fantastic location. Great property.

First of all, great communication from host from start to finish. The property is in a great location in Luz. Well appointed and maintained. We were met by a representative and she explained all the details. The home is super clean, nice size rooms and killer views of the beach, the beach is 3 minutes away, with nice restaurants and shops. Lagos is 15 minutes away and it’s also a quaint old town. This is definitely a great property to stay and by the way it’s better than the posted images. Thank you Susan for sharing this great home!

A Jewel in the Algarve

Enjoy drinks from the balcony whilst looking out to the view of the sea. The place is 2 minute walk to the promenade and our favourite restaurant Forteza, to watch a sunset and delectable food. Just making clear that if you book for 6 people it becomes a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, the fourth bedroom is locked. I found this not prominently stated on the site. The owner Susan did act fairly to rectify this and our booking error which is much appreciated!

With regard to your comment about the bedrooms - we have asked VRBO to confirm that the information is sufficiently prominent - they agree that as this is the 2nd sentence after the headline, that this is indeed prominentin. The reason for offering a separate fee for the 4th bedroom is in order to not penalise those who only require 3 bedrooms for 6 people - those who require the 4th bedroom are charged a small additional fee of £30 p/p per night. Perfect holiday location

Everything was top notch - great apartment, great location, great weather, great restaurants, great beach ......... The list is endless. We made good use of the resort membership passes and used the pools most days. The apartment was spotless and well maintained with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the bay - just a four minute walk to the beach! Our only regret is that we didn't book for two weeks. We were just finding our way round and it was time to come home. Thank you so much for your hospitality - You have a lovely holiday home in Luz and we feel very lucky to have been able to share it.
