Very nice and clean cottage. Weather was bad so we couldn’t take advantage of the kayaks. The house isn’t directly on the water but it was pretty close. And there is only one bathroom but it worked for our party of 3!
This property is managed by real pros. It was sparkling clean. The beds were comfy. Lots of crisp, clean towels. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, and pans. Hosts was quick and reliable with communication. THE VIEW FROM THE PORCH IS INCREDIBLE! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This property was the perfect stay. Very clean, relaxing and comfortable with all the amenities. Beautiful view of the lake from the comfy back porch. Quiet and relaxing. Property owners were so nice. Highly recommend.
The property was an ideal cabin on the lake. The views were great and the back deck was total relaxation. My wife and I are always suspicious about the cleanliness of a VRBO but this place was CLEAN. We have family in the area we fully expect to rent here again.
I rented this property for my parents and my family for their anniversary. It was absolutely lovely. It was isolated enough to enjoy our family time but close enough that we had access to the creature comforts. I definitely want to come back and stay again soon.
Lovely home Located right off of a hiking trail, with a porch overlooking the lake.
Management was very responsive when contacted about small issues, was a pleasure to work with.
The house was clean with a very rustic feel and communication with the owner was excellent. The deck from the house overlooking the lake had a lovely view. The property was very steep and difficult for older people and young children to walk and only one good parking space to unload. The dock was located at the end of a steep road and not enough flat ground for children to play. The house provided a couple of kayaks which were nice for our family to use during our stay. We wish the owner had left a binder of useful information which we have usually found in other rentals, but questions were quickly answered by Tino.
We had a great time at the lake house. The house has everything you need and more. Tino was so responsive and helpful anytime I had a question. Definitely book your next getaway here.
I was in business and brought my kids. Unfortunately, it ended up raining the entire week. The lake view is amazing and house is just as the pictures show. Home owners were amazing and communicate well.
We had a good time. Since we went in February, it was too cold to enjoy the outdoors, however, the view from the LR window was spectacular! Many restaurants within a few miles. The host was very easy to work with. Thank you!
Perfect for a family of 5! The house is perfectly placed within its own lake footprint. It offers a multi level home with premium access to Lake Hopatcong. Incline walk dock to house is a workout!
We had a great time! Clean house, great view of lake, quiet neighborhood. Close to large grocery store and good restaurants. Within 30 minutes of great antique stores. Caught Pickeral, bass and perch right across from house while using owner's kayak. Owner made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying at this property!

Charles was a fantastic guest and it was a pleasure hosting him. We hope he returns and visits again soon!
This lake house was perfect for myself, my husband, our two kids and my parents. The house was clean and very comfortable to fit all of us. The owner, Santino, called me during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We also met two different neighbors who were very friendly.

Cheryl and guests we're fantastic. They are welcome back anytime.
My friend and I stayed in Mid October and were treated to a great foliage show. We enjoyed the view of the lake and walking in the adjacent preserve. Saw fox, deer, an eagle, swans, ducks, pileated woodpecker, and a heron. Nearby restaurants were a plus.
Dock on property is down a very steep driveway, so you may learn, like I did, that you're really out of shape!
Very homey and comfortable. I could live on the back deck-great views of lake! The property was extremely clean and comfortable. We're already planning our next stay. Dock was useful since family had boat. Didn't use kayaks or peddle boat but they were available. Walking trails nearby were lovely. Tino was helpful in answering questionsand resolving minor issues.
We had a lovely weekend at Lake Hopatcong! Being able to dock our boat made all the difference! My kids rented a boat from Bridge Marina so the they could more friends visit for an afternoon. The hill down to the dick was a little challenging for me the well worth the effort. Sitting on the deck a glass of wine was perfect! And our last night there were fireworks!!!
The house sits high up on the hill with a big deck overlooking the lake. Viewing the lake with coffee in AM, watching the lake activity during day and seeing the moon and lights across the water with a glass of wine at night was lovely. The lake in front of the house is a no wake zone which affords a calmer setting which was really nice. The owner lives in the area and was quickly attentive to answer questions and resolve any small issues that came up. Highly recommend this home.
Hi...we stayed at Tino's cozy place as a stopover in route to our new home. The place was quiet, and peaceful. The kids went to virtual school and I was able to get some work done. Love being on the lake and enjoying the morning sunrise. We truly appreciated Tino's responsiveness and our peaceful time before heading back towards the city. Thanks!
Clean home, well-stocked kitchen, great view, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the variety of activities to do in the area: hiking, nature walks, swimming, boat rides, antiquing, thrifting and more! There are a variety of great restaurants to choose from and plenty of stores for supplies. We tried the paddle boat, but could only get it to go in circles! The only negatives were there was no hot tub, which is listed as an amenity, and the check-in information was incomplete. The owner responded to all of our questions and addressed any concerns. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family!
