The White House & Retreat is a tastefully renovated large family home, well-equipped, centrally located and ideal for a large family or more than one family. The main house sleeps 16 people in four bedrooms (there is a fold-out bed for the 16th person) and the unit in the backyard sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

KITCHEN & DINING
The large open dining/kitchen area features a combustion wood fire and a generous sized dining table for 10 people which is the perfect place to gather with family and friends. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

LOUNGE
The lounge room is more than comfortable with lounge seating for 7 people, a large TV and DVD player and a second dining table seating 8 people.

WIFI is not available at this property.

HEATING & COOLING
All bedrooms have split system heating/cooling and an electric wall heater. There is split system heating/cooling in the dining room and lounge room.

BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY
The first two bedrooms have their own ensuite. The main bathroom has a great sized shower, a bath and toilet, washing machine and dryer. The separate bungalows feature ensuite bathrooms for each of the bedrooms.

OUTDOORS
The White House features a fantastic undercover outdoor entertainment area complete with outdoor dining and seating, a fridge, gas BBQ & plenty of bench space! There is also another laundry, bike storage and undercover parking.

This was a really spacious house with 18 of us staying here. There is a lot of extra space in all of the bedrooms, and the two living areas are really big. Every room has heating that worked a treat, and we had the woodfire going as well (there is no guarantee that wood will be supplied, but if it is, you can use it).The bathrooms are modern and spacious too. There is plenty of room for parking multiple cars off road. The main streets of Bright are only a few minutes walk. I can't recommend this holiday rental highly enough. We loved it!

The space available for socialising (in a variety of locations) and the abundance of crockery, glassware, utensils & the new stove easily catered for our family group of 20. Everything that Bright township has to offer is just a short walk around the corner, and it was a very comfortable & cosy experience for everybody.We'll be back :-)

The house was in a fantastic location within easy walking distance into Bright. There were 15 of us, 12 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. At no stage did we feel cramped even on the one day that it poured with rain and we were pretty much confined to the house. The separate retreat out the back and the five bathrooms made it extremely comfortable for all of us. I would highly recommend the White House and Retreat

Reviewer Comments: White House is a wonderful, spacious house, with the Retreat in the back yard making it larger, with extra bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. The house has large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen/dining area and living area, the high ceilings making it feel even larger. The back yard is a good size and the under cover bbq area is huge, giving plenty of areas for outdoor living, playing games, making it perfect for kids and adults alike. Great position, walking distance to shops, parks, etc. Perfect place for groups, family reunions, with the multiple areas, there is space for everyone.

House interior looks nice but appear to be poorly renovated

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house looks stunning on photos but when we arrived there we could tell it was poorly renovated simply to mask the bad condition of the house. The granny flat at the back was leaking and dark. The bathroom has water seeping out of the floor outside the bath areas. We are totally unimpressed.
