The condo has just been completely redone from the studs, and turned out absolutely amazing!! (will have more new phones up late Jan/early Feb 2026.) Might want to get your Feb-April vaca booked now because when the new images are live it's going to book up fast. Everything in the condo is new and custom... including fresh modern new bathrooms!! If you're looking for a relaxing direct beachfront condo that's been newly remodeled you've come to the right place. Our ground-level oceanfront condo is the perfect place to unwind unplug and recharge the batteries. Fisherman's Cove is a quiet and relaxed complex on the South end of Siesta Key. We have some of the best ocean views and sunsets on the island! Enjoy free boat docking and Intercostal waters out the front of the condo and gulf front ocean views out the back. Listen to the surf roll onto the beach directly from the Lanai and Master Bedroom. Fisherman's Cove has amenities galore including, a heated pool, shuffleboard and free boat docking for guests. Several restaurants walking distance away, including Turtles on Sarasota Bay and Ophelia's on the Bay.

Some of the recent upgrades include: new white kitchen cabinets and Quartz counters with large island. Fresh paint floor to ceiling with all new base molding. New beds, linens and quilts. New sofa, chairs and occasional tables. 65" HD TV's in the family room and Master Bedroom. New Showers and lavatories in both bathrooms! We also just installed new stainless steel appliances.

Beautiful views and easy beach access. Whole family enjoyed the condo. Location is far enough away from the busy village, but not to far to catch the trolley for dinner and a night out seamlessly. We hope to come back and stay again next year.

Great, quiet condo

Unfortunately we were only able to stay a few days due to Hurricane Ian, but we had a great time at this condo. The beach is right outside the back door and the pool was also very close. The location was close to shopping, restaurants and Siesta Key Beach.

Great Family Beach Getaway

This beach condo was super. It was steps away from the beach and pool...right outside our back door. We could sit outside and hear the waves! The kids had room to play as well, where we could see them, and the hose at the back door made for easy clean up coming in from the beach. The unit was well equipped and had a great layout. There were king beds, bunks for the kids, and lots of family space. Parking was right outside our front door and great restaurants nearby. We had a small issue with one of the doors and our host responded immediately and remedied the problem. Definite plusses all around and the week flew by! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

The property was a bit smaller than expected- but for us it was all about location. You literally are steps away from the water. They were renovating the beach (putting new sand down) so the beach in front of the unit could not be used during the day. We had to use the public beach about 200 yds away. Even though the host wasn’t at fault- he made an excellent effort to make it right. We really appreciated that. The property is definitely worth it if all you are looking for is a place to sleep and eat, but the rest of your time being on the water. I’d definitely go back.

Just Say No!

This listing does not match description! Unit bathrooms were filthy and not stocked! Owner had to order supplies on Amazon after I complained. Orders sent to unit on day 4 or 5 of my 20 day stay! Had to call owner upon arrival for entry directions. Rusty broken lounge chairs! No iron, vacuum, dishwasher machine soap to start. Internet sketchy and no instructions to control 3 different tvs. Owner lied and said he had ordered a deep clean prior to my arrival- he may have ordered it but it did not happen! Window blinds broken. Sent a cleaner out to unit on day 3 or 4- even she agreed w dirty conditions. Seems to me this out of state owner doesnt care or just can’t keep up! Just say NO! I have pictures to illustrate conditions.

We were so excited to begin vacation and were so crestfallen to walk in and see how dirty this unit was. Grease was all over the stove and on the coffee machine and pot. Food, dirt and sand on the floor, a dirty sheetpan with food on it in the oven, black liquid spilled and left in the refrigerator, a bucket full of dirty utensils and a silverware tray with food stuck on it, There was a condom wrapper, water bottle and other garbage behind the guest room bed. Sand from the previous guest was not swept off the floor or vacuumed off the rug. The sun room looks nothing like the photo. There were piles of sand, different furniture and full of old toys, may of which are broken and the outdoor furniture does not exist. There is one stained plastic chaise outside. Every vertical surface was covered in dust and grease including picture frames and baseboards. The owner was not terribly concerned and was "surprised" as it is usually so clean. Not the case. There was so much greasy dirt on the vents and glass bookshelf it is hard to tell when it was last cleaned. The morning of day two was spent leaving the beach to meet the people delivering the dryer and all the issues that happened and ultimately couldn't be installed so we could not do laundry in the unit. The beach was beautiful and I would return to another unit but this one is not managed. I would be so upset if my parents were the ones that rented it and had to clean it in order to enjoy their vacation.

spring break woes

We have been coming to Fisherman's Cove for years and love this location! My parents used to own a unit in this building and my siblings and I wanted to visit again. We were very happy to find a first floor unit that would sleep 7 of us which included 5 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 13. Most of the units are only 2 bedroom and we were looking for a third bedroom to accommodate our group. Unfortunately, the third "bedroom" is a bunk bed housed inside the previous master bedroom walk-in closet. The top bunk was just too stuffy and tight to accommodate my 9 year old so she slept on the couch. Once realizing that the couch did not pull-out to a bed, my brother rented a folding bed from a local company and slept on the lanai. Although an air mattress is available in the unit, there is really no convenient floor space to set it up and keep it dry and clean for the week. This unit should not be advertised as a three bedroom unit and the price should really be set lower in the two bedroom range. Furthermore, we were unfortunate to time our vacation during beach reconstruction! Due to the urgency of repairing the beach for the upcoming sea turtle season, the crew figured it must work non-stop around the clock. Instead of seagulls and ocean waves, we heard the roaring of construction trucks and beep-beep-beep of back-up signals all day and ALL NIGHT long for a week straight. By the time we left yesterday, the crew was past building A and now keeping building B up all night. I realize beach restoration is a good thing. We witnessed the last reconstruction in 2007 but at that time had known about it in advance and were able to plan accordingly. This time we didn't fare so well. Lastly, I want to mention a few items that were either missing or broken in the unit. The master bedroom ceiling fan did not work and this made for some stuffy nights. The living-room could use additional soft lighting to avoid the intense indirect bright lights of the lanai and dining areas. There is no dust pan, grapefruit spoons, and a limited number of forks, cereal bowls, and coffee cups. Additional shelf space and hooks in bathrooms could be installed for greater convenience. On a positive note, the unit is decorated nicely with a nice causal modern look and comfortable furniture. The water filter on the fridge was a nice thing to have but the ice dispenser does not seem to work. Overall, we are not likely to rent this unit again since it really does not accommodate us well.

A Long Awaited Beach Getaway

Great condo and property with direct access to a quiet beach and nice swimming pool. Tons of shells to collect, fantastic wildlife viewing (dolphins, pelicans, manatee). The unit is set up very well for up to 6 people comfortably. It could use a deep clean, and some updating to the bathroom plumbing, but was really fantastic! The area is perfect for a quiet, slower pace vacation, with only 15 minutes drive time (or free shuttle) to the north part of the key with all the hustle and bustle.

This is the second year in a row I’ve booked this property. I love the ease of everything! Sitting by the waves every morning with coffee, then returning later to lie out in the sun. Then, topping it off with beautiful sunsets in the evening. The best thing is that you only have to bring yourself. Stay by the water as long or short as you like and walk a few feet and go back in. The VRBO is well kept and has everything you need to make food or venture out. I love staying here and will continue to book this property!!

Beautiful location

Very nice location. Close to Siesta Key Village. The kitchen is updated with beautiful granite countertops and nice stainless steel appliances. Unfortunately this would not be considered a 3 bedroom condo. This is a two bedroom unit that they took out the master bedroom closet and put in bunkbeds and an opening from the livingroom. . So the master bedroom has no closet at all. It has one of those portable steel racks with hangers. It does have a bureau. The bunk room “has no closet no regular door no electrical out let and no room to even walk around the bed so it’s just a two bedroom two bath but if you have small children it’s fine because it’s just a bunkbed. No room to even walk around it. There is no closet in the other master bedroom either just a medal rack with hangers although it did have a bureau The front bedroom is the only one with a closet so if you don’t care about closet space it’s fine. There is seating for 4 in the livingroom. 4 in the dining room and 5 at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is adequate now because the owner sent a few frying pans and some stemless wine glasses and coffee cups. Thankfully whenever we had an issue the owner was prompt to help us and rectify the issue as soon as he could which we really appreciated. The condo is just steps from a 🏝 Beach and small pool. We had a nice vacation for 5 adults.

Close to the water & beach!

We had a great time! The beach/ocean is out your back door and the bay out the front door. The only thing to get used to was the moisture we felt on the furniture and the beds from the air. We loved having plenty of beds for everyone! There were 6 of us; all adults. The bunk beds were for our unmarried son and his fiance.

Nice quiet spot for a good value

The listing was accurate. The place was clean and the owner was responsive. It's a quiet spot at the southern end of Turtle Beach, which admittedly is narrower than the larger beach to the north. You can always take the free shuttle (which stops very close to the condo) to the busier spots and the bigger beach. But for us, it was perfect for rest, sun and surf fishing. The neighbors were quiet and respectful. It also was well situated to get to kayaking (which leaves from the small park next to the condo) and charter fishing boats and jet ski rentals about 2 miles away. A few good restaurants are within walking distance as well. We'd definitely consider it again if we return to Siesta Key.

Why they chose this property

It's not very often you can find a great open-concept condo with amazing ocean views and close enough to the water that you can actually hear the surf. We love having Inter-Coastal waters out the front and great free docking space for a boat. The fishing in surrounding waters is tremendous. Being walking distance to a few pubs and waterfront restaurants is also a huge plus! Fisherman's Cove has all the amenities to make a perfect relaxing vacation.

What makes this property unique

Fisherman's Cove is an amazing location for a family vacation!! The convenience of being on the beach makes ALL the difference... you really can't get any closer to the sand! Being on the Ground level is the best! Great for young families with kids needing naps or wanting a break from the sun. You can enjoy lunch in the air conditioned condo and be back to the beach in just a few minutes. We really enjoy having a drink on the patio and watching the sunset over the water... It's a regular Corona commercial!
