Set in a perfect area between the Hills and the city, all good facilities nearby… quiet, with views over the city and close to walks in the foothills, coffee shops and cafes nearby and a very thoughtful owner.
Great, quiet location. Very clean. Attentive and generous hosts who live just in front of the coach
As a post grad student working on a thesis, this is a great location to come home to each day to relax or study. Christine and Angus are lovely and made sure everything was comfortable.

Kelsey is a perfect guest
She is easy to communicate with and respects the space and is very tidy I would highly recommend Kelsey as a guest
Very good place to stay. One larger table rather than the 2 smaller tables would be more practical for meals . Ventilation is limited to one wind-out window by the kitchen sink and this with the hot weather meant the air con had to be on at nights as otherwise too warm and stuffy. Front of the carriage house faces east so quite sun exposed in the mornings on the hot days. Good public transport as it is close to 2 bus lines into town. The lovely Burnside pool which we used is only a few km away. Straight across the road from the Coach House, there is a small park from where one can access a number of the Beaumont/ Adelaide Hills walking tracks which are a delight.
Excellent property. Close to services and close to a network of walking trails local parks and only 7km from city centre. Property well equipped, clean, comfortable, quiet and lovely character. Christine was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended and would stay there again.
As presented online: everything we needed for a long stay: self-catering was a breeze with kitchen very well stocked with cooking paraphernalia and basic supplies of tea, sauces etc. Huge fridge. Lovely comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space plus additional racks and hangers provided. Christine was super helpful as was Angus, with location tips for activities and for our house-hunting for a month. Highly recommend The Coachhouse.

I had the need to be by myself for 14 days, and found the Coach House to be the perfect location. The Coach House is set up like a home away from home, with everything you'd need. The courtyard area is spacious and pretty, and the surrounds lovely.
Christine is a generous, caring, considerate and kind host. There if you need, open in communication and was able and willing to accommodate everything that happened prior to my arrival at the Coach House, during the stay as well as after I left.
I enjoyed my time at the Coach House! It's private, comfortable and in a great location. Christine's a tremendous host.
Christine is an absolutely wonderful host. She communicated fabulously, was extremely hospitable, kind and friendly. The Barn was a beautiful spot for my stay in between moving homes. I would highly recommend this beautiful property for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene location.
Christine is such a lovely person and very thoughtful...frig and everything fully stocked...attention to detail...great to talk to and to organise the whole stay. The accommodation is very pleasant and spacious...clean...lovely...position great...and a comfortable bed!...Highly rated and would certainly return...much better than a hotel.
Thank you Christine for all your help..
Sparkling clean, quiet, top end kitchen, own yard and surrounded by great gum trees.
Christine makes sure all is ok and is happy to help out when you want info.
Adelaide looks great from here!
The Coach house is part of the original Beaumont House property. It is now privately owned and has been renovated to a high standard. The layout is open plan Including a fully equiped galley kitchen, a washing machine and dryer. Another feature is the comfortable super king size bed.
It is a great location with easy access to the main roads leading into the CBD only 10 minutes away. It's position on the corner of Short Street and Dashwood Road is exactly opposite to the entry of the "Women's Pioneer Trial". We enjoyed some of the coffee shops close by especially the best bakery "Leabrook Bakehouse and Patisserie".
Our hostess Christine is welcoming and provided everything we needed from our choice of milk to washing powder.
Highly recommend this property for those looking for a home away from home.
