Everything you could possibly want. Great location and a short walk to two great pubs. We loved the Kings Arms with its fantastic food and atmosphere. The cottage is very well appointed and is perfect for a weekend away or as a base to explore the fells. Thank you for the stay.

We had a great few days at the house. It was a short drive from lots of the main lake district sites and really close to Rheged which was definitely worth a visit. The house was clean, spacious and well appointed. We made good use of the wood burner. We had a really nice meal at the local pub one evening.

The property is very comfortable, the inventory and fittings are of a high standard and it has a pleasant “homely” feel.It was ideally situated in the attractive village of Stainton; quiet, private and with a safely enclosed small garden. We would recommend it without hesitation.
