We had a lovely time at Panorama. The house is modern and spacious with beautiful views over Hat Head. The property is a decent walk to the creek and beach (up a very steep drive), but the walk is worth it for the views. The property manager was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
You can't find a better view over Hat Head. Our family enjoyed the house, bird and kangaroo watching, and loved spending time at the kid friendly beaches.
The views from this house are spectacular. Sunrise, trees, coastline, stars and shining lighthouse! It's private and peaceful. You won't want to leave - so go fully stocked so that you only have to leave for a walk or swim at the beach.
We loved Hat Head - a very special and spectacular place - and Helen’s home. And Helen was a great host: responsive, helped us organise quality linen etc. Thank you! We will return, no question.
(Our only wish was for wifi/Netflix, but network was mostly very good.)
We had a fantastic week at Hat Head in this incredible house. The views are amazing, the house very comfortable, well equipped and the huge deck was magic. What a magic place with beautiful walks, swimming and birdlife. We will be back!
We had an amazing stay at this property backed by outstanding two way communication with Helen the property owner! Highly recommend to all, will certainly be back! Amazing views!!
This property was exactly as described. It is an amazing house with incredible views that are hard to leave. The house is set up with everything you will need. I cannot recommend this stay more than enough!
This is a beautiful, elevated home with sweeping views up to Smokey Cape - and its lighthouse to the northwest - and down around the bay to the beaches of Hat Head and The Gap in the northeast. Its large airy interior spaces are beautifully organised with the lounge-room/ dining area situated in the centre, the bedrooms off to either side. The appointments - sinks, taps etc - are all contemporary and easy to use and the furnishings clean and comfortable. It's an easy house to relax in, to spread out and take in the amazing panorama in various sociable settings eg the large. front deck, the lounge area or the private deck off the master bedroom.
The only drawback is its extremely steep driveway. Even drivers of 4WDs need to be able to hold their nerve - thankfully my husband could. I'd probably have parked lower down and walked up.
But overall, this is an idyllic place and Helen could not have been more obliging, rallying to the cause when I failed to check the linen situation and found ourselves without any for the first night. Within a short time of receiving my email Helen had contacted her colleague in the area and he delivered a box of linen to us in record time.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a delightful holiday in an idyllic, quiet bushland setting - by the sea!
