Stylish apartment overlooking the historic market of Ortigia

Casa Sabir is an early 1900s chic apartment overlooking the fish and vegetable market on the island of Ortigia in Syracuse, South-Eastern Sicily. From its balconies you will enjoy a privileged point of view over the vibrant atmosphere of the stalls, with the calls of the sellers of fresh fish, vegetables and spices, for an authentic and deep Sicilian experience.
In the interiors, the charming original features such as the ancient tiles of the floors, the colored decors of the walls and the high vaulted ceilings, blend with the contemporary style made of designer lighting, microcement finishes and handcrafted furniture.
The kitchen with a fully equipped steel island and the eye-catching wine cellar with original maiolica floor invite you to cook fresh produce from the stalls and to try our special selection of Sicilian vineyards including organic and natural producers.
Upon request we organize cooking courses with our chef, including shopping at the market, private tours with an archeologist, Sicilian breakfast, private transfers.

Traumhafte Wohnung mit außergewöhnlichem Flair

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Ortigia. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, direkt über dem Markt und ist dank der sehr guten Fenster trotzdem ruhig. Das Apartment ist bis ins Detail geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. In der Realität ist die Wohnung noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen!

Review

Stay was enjoyable and the apartment is spacious and uniquely decorated. Only complaint was that the lock on the apartment door was very difficult and there was no key for the second couple.
