Beautiful home with New England charm. This home is waterfront on beautiful Lake Waquaquet. The home sits at the end of a private portion of the lake. Have a drink on the oversized front deck, relax on the private beach right in front of the house or fish off the dock. This home is only one of a handful with a private dock and beach! The house sits on Lake Waquaquet with absolutely stunning views. Relax inside with plenty of seating or sit outside on the 30-foot deck perched above our private sandy beach that is just feet from the lake. With 4 bedrooms and two baths the home can comfortably fit medium to large size groups. The house is ideally situated 10 minutes from Hyannis and just minutes to Craigville beach. The main floor of the home is open concept and has an updated kitchen, dining table and living area that overlook the lake. Hardwood floors through out the downstairs. All 4 bedrooms are on the second floor. The upstairs has new wall to wall carpet through out. Three kayaks, a paddle board, a lily pad and a canoe are provided. We ask guests to bring their own sheets or you can rent them for a fee (professionally cleaned). Wifi and basic cable included. Flat screen TV on the main floor, outdoor propane grill (renters are responsible to fill their own tank) Frequently asked questions! Please read before booking so you know what to expect Who is this home best suited for? Most of our guests are families getting together enjoying cape cod. We do not accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties. Can I swim in front of the house? Yes! You can absolutely swim in front of the house. Is there a beach in front of the house? Yes, we have a private sandy beach. this space is great for families and groups of friends getting together. If you looking for something pristine this is more of a relaxed lived in feeling it's perfect for your family.

It is a wonderful place on the lake for families who love to play, swim and paddle in the water. It is conveniently located to ocean beaches, stores, restaurants and stores. The host was available and responsive.

This house was great and the deck and first floor were bigger than we expected from the pictures. We had a lot of fun in the lake and especially enjoyed going in right from the beach. The house had everything we needed, looking forward to staying again.

Beautiful lake house near ocean

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this spacious lake house with a huge flower-filled deck overlooking a tranquil lake steps away. Great communications with the host The rental includes a canoe and kayaks, AC units in all the BRs if needed,outdoor shower, a 7 minute ride to the ocean. Can't wait to return.

The house is exactly as pictured in the profile. The lake was awesome especially loved using the canoe, kayaks & SUP. Loved the lily pad. Nice comfy deck furniture & grill. Only downside was the constant construction noise going on next door with a new house being built.

Great location on Lake. Enjoyed Dock, SUP, Kayak and Lily pad. Close to beach and restaurants. Could have provided some cleaning supplies to keep the place tidy during our stay such as broom, counter cleaners etc. More outdoor barrels needed for 8 guests for 7days. Overall, happy with the rental and had a memorable family vacation. Highly recommended.

Great week of swimming, boating, relaxing

This is the very picture of a well-used and well-loved vacation house on a beautiful lake. It's set down from the road and you can only see or hear the two houses next door. It was wonderfully peaceful. It's not large and luxurious but it's clean, comfortable, welcoming, and stocked with all sorts of things to help renters enjoy the lake: kayaks, a pedal boat, a big "lily pad" floating platform that everyone loved, a private dock, beach chairs, kid's toys, and lots more. I brought a 10' sailboat that I could launch at a place a few hundred yards away. Most important, there's a deck the width of the house with a large table for meals, a big couch, umbrellas for shade and a gas grill. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the view and breeze. Lots of convenient shopping nearby.

Lake Wequaquet Getaway

We had a great time at Priscilla's place. The location can't be beat. The lake is wonderful! We made great use of the terrific boathouse under the deck -- 3 kayaks, a canoe, a pedal boat, large innertubes, life vests, beach chairs - everything you need. We barbecued and did aerobics on the deck looking out at the lake. The kitchen/dining/living room area is spacious and bright, although the living room area is a bit crowded. The living room furniture is well-used but comfortable -- just as described. The bedrooms are pleasant and two of them have a/c. There is no a/c downstairs, but there are four or five large window fans and every room has plenty of windows to create a cross breeze, so we were cool and comfortable the whole time. Priscilla was responsive and very easy to deal with. We highly recommend her house.

Fantastic Vacation

Fantastic spot for a family vacation! Location is absolutely perfect. My grandsons spent all day in the water, on the dock and especially on the Lilli pad! The house is well maintained and the deck is a highlight. We look forward to returning next year!

Great lake and deck

We really liked the house and the expansive deck overlooking the beautiful lake was terrific. Priscilla is a great, responsive host (she responded almost instantly to all emails/messages) and the house was really well equipped for lake activities and cooking. The big con of the week was that there was constant construction noise from a house being built next door...hammering and drilling for about 10 hours each weekday. If that construction is done by next summer, we'd love to rent this house again. Without that construction, the spot is private and quiet and lovely. Certainly not the host's fault, just bad luck for us. We still enjoyed the lake and beautful sunsets.

Great lake house

Everything was fantastic. Host Priscilla has all you need for a great vacation. Being right on the lake, you really don't need to leave unless you want to; especially with that expansive deck. Despite being just minutes away from all the Hyannis shopping, it's a very quiet neighborhood. Really, no complaints; we'll very likely go back.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our opportunity to stay at the Beech House. We both found the lake house to be very comfortable and well supplied beyond our needs. Priscilla was easy to communicate with - very responsive. It was the best of both worlds - - easy access to beaches and endlessly varied views of Lake Wequaquet and its sunsets. Hope to get back for another visit soon.

Ken and I currently live in Manchester, NH. Ken is presently retired and I am still working. One of the things that Ken and I love about hosting is our home has become a yearly tradition for several families. They are so excited to come and spend family time at the lake.

Why they chose this property

This property is amazing because your right on the lake but your within minutes of restaurants, beaches, parks, bike trails and shopping, and the Melody tent. Once you pull into the driveway you feel like you in the middle of the woods. It is very private.

What makes this property unique

Your on the lake with the ocean being only 2 miles away. Large outdoor deck overlooking the lake. Private beach on the lake. Very private location.
