Cottage Definately has Charm!

We really enjoyed our stay and will definately come back. The house was clean and well equipped. Very quiet neighborhood too which we loved. Host could not have been nicer or more accomodating.

We love this property, we stayed here six years ago, everything was the same it was very clean and so comfortable, it was a little more worn, but that is to be expected, we would definitely stay here again, thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Hurricane couldn't stop us

We were scheduled the day after hurricane was supposed to hit. Owner called and offered us a chance to postpone a day, but we chose to go ahead. She had someone there cleaning up the mud when we got there. All else was good. We caught a lot of fish andfed a lot of crabs. House was well equiped. We had a great time and plan on going back.

Couples Getaway

Everything was just as described by owner, just need to remind guest about the rise & fall of water. I was raised on water and it never entered my mind! When they say they have everything they mean everything! All the spices and stuff you need to grill. ( we brought our stuff anyway because I have been places that was “stocked” but it really wasn’t! Great place to just kick back any relax!

Perfect vacation home

Pictures don't do this place justice, such a great property with everything you can possibly need. We put our boat in the water and was able to tie it up and walk right into the house. We will be staying here again next year!

It was very quiet and peaceful in this area. The accomidations would be great for someone who is into boating and fishing. The locals call this type of home a "camp."

Mississippi Getaway

The house is as advertised! Very cute well appointed and well stocked home on the channel. Jody is very responsive to any and all communication. The fridge was impossible to control the temp and froze all the fruits and vegetables (my husband was not upset as that meant he didn’t have to eat vegetables!!) and the cushion on the couch with the white cover kept coming off the couch making it nearly impossible to sit. The home is very tastefully decorated and other than the white covered couch, quite comfortable. The hotel style shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the showers were a nice touch. Overall we thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!!!

The deck and screened porch are really great, as was the view of the water and the available of kayaks. The great room was comfortable and the kitchen had good provisions such as oil and a few spices. Many plates and bowls had multiple chips. The TVs were not internet capable so no streaming was possible, just cable. The house internet was good though. One queen matress was uncomfortable and the metal bedframe was noisy when turning in sleep. We weren't aware that faucet water in Bay St.Louis is not only undrinkable, but also smelled horribly and left our body's smelling after showering. This is a deal breaker for us for future visits.

Peace and Quiet in BSL

We had such a wonderful time in this cozy house on the bayou. Every detail has been accounted for, there is nothing more that we could have asked for!! We had a slice of heaven for 3 days. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and fun antique stores. There is plenty to do right there at the house so you don't even feel the need to leave! I highly recommend!

Great Home

Home was awesome!! It had pots&pans you could actually cook in (kitchen was very well stocked) All the extras here were amazing (crab traps, kayak, chairs even fishing equipment) You couldn't ask for a better place. Plus the owner texted me at 10am and gave us an early check-in!! Super Nice!!! Thanks Jody!!

My family and I had a great stay. Clean and comfortable inside and beautiful view from the deck. We enjoyed exploring the coast. Beach chairs and boogie boards came in handy. Thank you!

Wonderful and relaxing!

This house was super clean and had everything you could possibly want or need. It’s very comfortable and my favorite part was the two porches. The sunrise and sunset were great. When the tide comes in the dock is unuseable so plan around that if you bring a boat or plan to fish from the dock. We would definitely come again and loved being able to bring our dog. Which reminds me, you would never know the place allowed your pet. Yes, it was that clean.

Relaxing Escape

The property is located perfectly to many attractions on the Gulf Coast. The house was spacious and the screened in porch was so relaxing with a swing, sofa, table and rocker. Then the huge deck with lots of seating was great for BBQ and a short walk down stairs to fishing off of the pier. There is also parking under the house which was a plus during the rain! We will definitely be back to this fun VRBO soon.

Home away from home

We had a great 3 week stay. The house was well stocked, and close enough to grocery and discount stores so that we had everything we needed. Weather was wet many days, so we stayed in during the rain and enjoyed the many jigsaw puzzles (I think we completed 5) and watching the daily tides, sunsets and changes in bayou. On dry days there were hikes, beaches, fishing and exploring the area, including New Orleans. Overall a very nice winter retreat.

We chose this property because of the secluded location, incredible deck and screened in porch and the owners were great to sell it completely furnished, which they had made the perfect little cottage!

Unlike some of the other properties, this home is not on a canal so your view is not only of the beautiful bayou but of the marshland landscape that can't be beat! It's in a quiet neighborhood that provides the perfect setting for a relaxed retreat!
