A fantastic Find.
Built in 2014, ocean view from every window, large deck with furniture facing the beach. It is located in a beach community. (very private).
Sugar Shack is professionally decorated. It features tall ceilings, lots of granite, stainless steel appl. and most important luxurious beds and linen.
There are 3 bedrooms with their own private baths and 2 captain beds. Also a private sitting area on the 2nd floor.
Pets are not allowed. The pool is shared between all 3 properties.
No smoking.

We also have 2 other properties that sit on either side of "Sugar Shack" and can accommodate up to 28 adults.

Great stay at the Sugar Shack. The host is so kind and helpful. It was super clean and comfortable. The beach is private to local neighbors. The kids loved the pool too.

Fantastic Place to Stay

This is an excellent property that goes above and beyond in comfort and has a prime location with private beach access. Everything is in top notch condition and was very clean. Our kids loved the vacation and we would not hesitate to return here again!

Amazing vacation home

We enjoyed this home so much. We were two families with kids and it was so nice that the beach was so close to the house. Also loved the outdoor shower to get the kids clean before we came in the house

Great place to stay if you love the beach!

Family had a blast on the beach and in the pool. Beds were comfortable and clean along with everything else in the house. More towels would have been nice as we had to wash them everyday and remember to bring a beach towel. It was a fun stay and will book again for a future beach vacation.

Excellent house and location

The overall experience was wonderful. Excellent host family and the house was perfect. Location to the beach was very convenient and the beach was beautiful. My only wish is that the pool had been heated for spring break. We missed swimming.

Week @ Sugar Shack

We had a Fantastic week at Sugar Shack - it is a beautiful beach house, and having access to a pool and a non crowded beach was perfect for our family! The owners were extremely kind and helpful!

The perfect getaway!

We had such a wonderful stay, and hope to make this place our “go-to” beach house every year! The property is clean and had everything we needed. The beach is much less crowded than Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area, but yet only about 20 minutes from restaurants, tourist attractions, major grocery stores, etc. if you want to go into town. Highly recommend this place!

Great getaway!

The Sugar Shack was a home away from home for a week at the beach! A cute & lovely home, with all the amenities one could need. Far enough from town to allow for a quiet, relaxing time; but close enough to enjoy all that Gulf Shores has to offer. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we’ve already been talking about when we can go back!

We truly had the best time. It’s a beautiful property! It’s a short walk to the beach, and having pool access was also a plus! Check in and out we’re easy, and the home owner was easy to get in touch with, and never made us feel like an inconvenience. We will stay again!

Wonderful stay

Sugar Shack is beautiful and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Karen was quick to respond and very helpful during the booking and check in process. Clean and spacious enough for our 8. Although not right on the beach it is just a short walk. The pool is right by the house. The neighbor was nice and quiet.

Our favorite house in Ft. Morgan!

This is the 2nd year we have rented the Sugar Shack. It is our favorite house in the Ft. Morgan area. It's perfect for beach access! The house still looks and feels brand new! Love the master bedroom shower! We will return soon!

Wonderful property!

This was our first time staying at the sugar shack and we’re already wanting to book it for next year. The house was gorgeous, very clean, and very close to the beach. My kids of course loved the pool. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. We love staying in this area due to low crowds and my husband can fish on the beach. This has definitely been our favorite place to stay in Gulf Shores!

The perfect beach getaway!

We absolutely loved Fort Morgan and Sugar Shack! It was perfect for our vacation with our kids and grandkids! The house is comfortable and the furnishings give it that total beach house feel. The pool was fantastic and great to hang with the kids when they were tired of the beach! The owners were great to work with!! We had great views even though its second tier and an easy walk to the beach! Thanks to Sugar Shack and the quiet little community we made memories of a lifetime with our family. Family vacation

Our family had 2 neighboring houses owned by the same people. Our houses shared a pool and was just a short walk to the beach. Cleaning staff was super helpful and so nice. We couldn't go through just the owners so a lot of communication leading up to vacation was via VRBO. For our family of 12 it worked out nicely.

Beautiful

Loved the home and the proximity to the beach! I LOVED that all the rooms have a private bath! The pool was perfect as a break from the beach and to cool off. The only thing that could be changed is the mattress in the master bedroom not the most comfortable to sleep on. However, overall we would 100% return to this place and hope to one day. Our 4 children enjoyed every second of our family vacation. Thank you.

Home away from home for large family

Part of our family stayed at Sugar Shack while the others stayed next door. Sugar shack was equipped with so many necessities- booster seat, baby gate, blender, etc. You really can’t beat the pool and beach access for a large group. Comfortable couches and beds. We deducted one star for cleanliness as the tub was dirty. We were asking to check in early so maybe the cleaning staff was hurrying trying to accommodate us. Regardless, we’ll be back!

A wonderful, restful stay!

My son and I had a wonderful vacation at Sugar Shack. It is one tier back from the ocean but there is still a lovely view and you can hear the sound of the waves. Beautiful white sand beach. The pool (which is shared with only 2 other houses) made our vacation; my son loved it even more than the beach. The area is private and quiet; great to avoid the crowds during the pandemic. The house itself is lovely -- recent construction with all the modern conveniences and very clean. Hot & cold shower booth under the house to wash off sand was a plus. Owner was very responsive to questions. I definitely look forward to staying at Sugar Shack again in the future.

Why they chose this property

We bought Coco Beach (next door) 4 years ago and fell in love with the neighborhood. It is a private community and steps away from the gulf.

What makes this property unique

We now have 3 houses that can be rented together or individually. It is a great spot for weddings and huge reunions.
