Very comfortable accommodation, quiet neighborhood, the canal was tight but accessible, the dock still needs a little repair and could use a ladder, none of that matters when you’re having fun.

Memorial day 2022

Enjoyed our stay over the Memorial Day holiday. This house has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Spacious and clean close by are two grocery stores and several restaurants. Enjoyed boating out in lemon Bay and hunting for sharks teeth on the sandbar. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Spacious, comfortable and close to everything!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and comfortable, had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the patio, cooked out on the grill many times. The dock was convenient with boat ready to go when we were. The neighborhood was quiet and the few people we encountered were welcoming. The property is very close to grocery stores and shopping as well as restaurants. We will definitely consider renting this property again.

Disappointed in property manager.

The property was more than enjoyable. Were not advised of extra charge to heat pool. Property manager was not helpful when contacted. They gave the impression that they were doing me a favor by answering any questions. Over 2 weeks and we have not received our security deposit. They have not responded to email asking status.would not rent again because of the property manager.

Second time around 2022

We have stayed at this house twice now. It's pretty nice and has a dock for our boat. The canal gets a little narrow with the other boats but we don't have any issuse with our 22ft Sea Hunt. The only thing I would change about this house is the shell rock in the back yard. We are usually bare foot going to and from the boat which is not fun with the shells and they get tracked into the pool patio easily. The master bedroom stays significantly hotter than the rest of the house. Other than that we have never had any other complaints. All the neighbors we spoke to were friendly and the kids enjoyed coloring the wall paper in the pool Bathroom. Nice house and I would buy it if it was on the market.

Lovely vacation spot!

We vacation in or around the Venice/Englewood area yearly and this house was great. The pool was lovely and the location was super close to lots of restaurants and a short drive to the beach. The house having all we needed for the beach was awesome as well. We (unfortunately) didn’t realize there was a bathroom right next to the pool until 2 days before we left, so thankful we figured that out!! It was a cool bathroom as well. Maybe put a sign on the door? We just assumed it was outside storage for the owners. Beds were comfy, towels were well stocked. Just a few things that would help in the future- we weren’t sure where the lock box was and there was no information on the check in form, and then trickier to figure out it actually opened the front door once we found it. The pool patio was very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. The bottom of the pool needed a good clean as well, but the pool water seemed chemically ok. The sectional was nice, but underneath was really dirty. I think the house would benefit from a very deep clean. It just felt like it hadn’t been cleaned well in a long time. It would also help to have the light switches labeled because they are very confusing!! (This is all very picky, the house was very nice but these small changes could make a huge difference.) Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time at the house!!
