The lounge in the main living area was very uncomfortable. It was also a very noise residence with the other tenants of the units making a lot of noise at all hours . House was lovely and everything went smoothly.
1.The lockbox was very very difficult to.open especially at night time where visibility was next to zero.
I spent nearly an hour to no avail.
The instructions were illegible.
The owner had his phone switched off so I was unable to get any assistance.
Had a cab dropped me from the airport I would have been utterly stranded but a friend loaned me his car.
I had no option but to go to a hotel for the night. I spent over an hour trying to find a room .
In the end I found a room in a hotel in West Perth...costing $200
Even following morning the owner was still not returning calls or messages.
A friend came with me with tools and just prior to lunchtime we were able to open the lockbox.
Maybe we were unlucky or I am technically incompetent but the whole exercise soured the trip.
The owner switching his phone off and offering no alternative contacts for first night/day clients , quite frankly is an utter disgrace.
Maybe he will claim it never happened before and its all my fault.
2. The stove top and oven I was unable to operate, thus I was left with a microwave or takeaways. The airfryer was from the 'ark'.
I am particular with my food and like to cook and prepare my own. Assuming the stove and oven worked I spent/wasted $50 on larder items.
3. I was rarely able to utilise my allotted parking space and was continually receiving rude messages/complaints for parking in other spaces. There is no system in place and thus I was a stooge ...again.
4. Never again

Dear Brian
I am sorry you were unable to operate the locked box, we have never had an issue in the past or since with locked boxes. Operational instructions were provided to you 30 days before arrival.
The locked box is standard design available at Bunnings and used by the majority of airbnb's. A 4 digit code and a release button.
Unfortunately, I did not answer as I was asleep at 11.52 pm, we attempted to call on waking at 6.53am.
In regards to the stove and oven there was no mention of an issue in any correspondence, so we could not assist you.
They are digital Bosch appliances and are fully operational, we also have laminated instructions in the kitchen draws.
The apartment has its own undercover parking bay and all bays are marked with their unit numbers so there should be no reason to be using any other than the allotted bay and considering the carpark is gated and only tenants have a security buzzer. Instructions for this was provided to you on 21st April via the Stayz app.
Once again there was no mention of this in any correspondence, so we could not provide any assistance in this matter.
We hope you have an better experience in the future.
