Location
Picturesque and peaceful, Killcare and Hardys Bay offer an idyllic coastal lifestyle. Residents have beaches and bushland at their disposal and they take maximum advantage of both. Putty Beach is a firm favourite, and the Bouddi Coastal Walk, which stretches all the way to Macmasters Beach, is a local go-to. Bouddi National Park is a natural delight, with walking trails, mountain biking tracks, fishing spots and beautiful beaches that are a world away from the daily grind.

Killcare Village caters to basic shopping and service needs and features an art gallery, general store, hair salon, and boutique shops. It is a factor in the low-key, community feel the suburb is known for, and bigger shopping malls are just a short drive away. When it comes to dining, Killcare and Hardys Bay is a hidden hotspot. There are fine dining restaurants like The Wild Flower Bar and Dining (located inside Bells at Killcare), as well as relaxed beachside eateries such as The Fat Goose, and Hardys Bay Bistro.

Perfect position

Absolutely delighted with our accommodation. Beautiful views in every direction, and so close to the beach. House is very comfortable and has everything you need to relax and enjoy a beach break. Loved the sounds of the birds, cicadas and surf rolling in. Would book it again in an instant.

This was a lovely property to rent . Fabulous views . It had everything we needed . Not too far from Killcare . Just be aware lots of steps into property . Would definitely rent again

This property was clean and had gorgeous views with many great amenities included - however, we found it very unusual that simple things like linens weren't included. We found out after getting to the property that WiFi wasn't included either, but after contacting the property manager they provided a WiFi router for us which was great. Overall we had a great stay and loved the area!

Wonderful spot with spectacular view

This was the second time we stayed, and we had forgotten how gorgeous the view is. A beautiful timber beach house in the trees in a lovely quiet spot. A short walk to the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tree tops house with great beach views.

Lovely house well equipped with everything you might need. Stunning views from the deck/living area/main bedroom. Great location for Putty Beach and Bouddi National Park and easy drive into the Killcare shops. We had a great stay. Only downside was there are no blinds on the very top two windows of the master bedroom so the sun floods the room very early!

Idyllic stay

Very accurate protrayal of the accommodation, views and features. No high chair as was indicated on the stayz site but agent brought one up immediately we contacted them. All else was perfect. Well set up kitchen and comfortable stay.

Great retreat!

We enjoyed our stay at Putty Beach so much. There is a lot to like with great views, a wonderful deck and living areas, with a family of kookaburras who called in each day to see how we were going; a good well-equipped kitchen so we could actually cook some nights without having to improvise (like many beach houses) and a lot of thoughtful touches around the house. Best thing is the privacy from other houses...or maybe the gentle background sound of the waves all day and all night. Recommended.
