About the host
Hosted by Owner: Lesley Roberts.
We have a large family and we have built and developed the house and grounds to suit and accommodate people of all ages. It is our holiday home and we like our guests to share the comforts our home provides. We regularly have three generations staying in the house simultaneously and there is so much space that it never feels crowded.
Why they chose this property
This is a home from home. In 2000 we had a fantastic holiday staying in a friends house close by. We loved the local area and the many activities available, so when we saw this beautiful house set in such wonderful surroundings we were smitten and have remained so ever since. Over the years we have developed the house to comfortably accommodate large groups.
The pool has a heating system which permits use from April until the end of October. Pool towels are provided. The land that surrounds the house has a complete perimeter fence offering complete privacy and the surrounding countryside is great for bike rides. Although the main features are shown for Summer holidays the house is really fantastic in the winter months with an open log fire and central heating. There are lots of DVDs and books perfect for a winter retreat. The baby equipment makes the house perfect for families with young children.
What makes this property unique
Totally peaceful with fantastic facilities. The house is well set back from the road and the large number of fields that surround the property means that holiday makers are assured a private and relaxing holiday.
