Three Generations in Uzes
Two grandparents, 76, three adults, mid-40’s, five children, 11 to 22. Now they know why we almost bought a house in Uzes.
The pictures don’t begin to do justice to how spacious and well appointed the property is. There were great spaces for family time, but the layout provided easy opportunity for family privacy - grandparents in a first floor en-suite bedroom on the first floor of the main house, one family in bedrooms on the second floor, and the other in the guest house adjacent to the pool.
The location is great. Across the street from the municipal pool for those who want to swim laps, par course, kids playground and the beginning of a trail leading all the way to the Pont du Guard for the ambitious and fit. 100 meters from a boutique grocery with the kind of in season produce one expects in France. 80 to 500 meters to dozens of restaurants running from good to one Michelin star. About 500 meters to the famous Uzes Wednesday and Saturday markets. Corinne, our host, was extraordinarily accommodating and responded quickly to questions.
