Hawks Retreat @ Tuross Head
Summary:
Hawks Retreat is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and laid-back beach holiday. Renovated to provide all the modern comforts, while still retaining its classic beachside charm. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of popular “One Tree” Beach, the village shops and children’s playground.
The layout of the house makes it ideal for couples or extended families, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.
The Space:
On the top level, the open plan kitchen and dining area comes equipped with everything you might need. The living area adjoins the rear deck, where there is an extendable sun awning. There are three bedrooms on this floor (one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a single bed + single trundle bed). In addition, there is a bathroom complete with bath and shower recess, as well as a separate WC.
The lower level offers two more bedrooms (both with queen beds and one also with a single bed), another sitting area, and another bathroom with WC. This level also houses the laundry room, which comes complete with a washing machine and dryer.
At the rear of the property, you'll find a second sun deck complete with outdoor furniture, gas barbecue, and shade umbrella. The level back garden area is fully fenced and gated, making it perfect for kids. Off street parking is available for your car or boat. Unfortunately, the garage is not available to guests. We hope you enjoy your stay!
Guest Access:
Off street guest parking for your car & boat is provided in the driveway or behind the gate. The garage is not available for guest use. The main house is available to guests with the exception of a locked off private area on the ground floor + supply storage cupboard in the laundry.
For your arrival, we would be happy to meet you at the property (business hours Monday-Friday & Saturdays until 3pm) or simply leave keys available for you in the lock box located at the property.
Please let us know your preference.
The Neighborhood:
With easy access to a wonderful walking and cycling path along the beachfront, you can ditch the car and explore nature at your leisure. Whether you want to go for a leisurely stroll or an invigorating bike ride, this is the perfect spot to do it!
Looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Look no further than Tuross Head. With two lakes and beautiful beaches nearby, you can enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, and cycling all year round. This is sure to become a favourite spot for couples and families alike. Grenville Ave enjoys an easy walk to the village shops and across Tuross Blvd to the beach!
Getting Around:
Park the car and enjoy a 1 minute level walk to the shops!

• Booking fee $55 – Maximum 9 Guests
• Refundable guest bond $500 is payable - details below.
• The house has a locked off area which is not accessible to guests.
• Minimum 7 night stay during peak season.
HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION LICENCE AGREEMENT - upon booking confirmation you will receive an email containing a link to accept the terms of the Holiday Accommodation Licence Agreement. This document must be completed or the booking will cancel. Valid Australian ID is required.
REFUNDABLE GUEST SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable guest security deposit of $500.00 is payable.
•For bookings of 5 nights or less the deposit will be by way of card 'pre-authorisation' hold.
•For bookings of 6 nights or more the deposit is payable by way of Electronic Funds Transfer to our Real Estate Trust Account.
Security deposits will be refunded/released within 48 hours of departure unless withheld to cover any damages or losses.
• Please note, some 3rd party booking sites do handle security deposits on guests behalf - please let us know if you have any questions at all.
