Alfred s on Hitchcock is a traditional Barwon Heads Beach Home that has recently been renovated for a relaxed beach house feel.
Right in the heart of town just park your car on arrival and walk everywhere or just relax in the huge lush garden. Comprising of 4 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two lounge areas with large kitchen its perfect for two families or a larger group of friends wanting to walk to everything on offer in town. With Cafes, restaurants and eclectic shopping right on your door step. Perfect for Girls weekends with two days spas steps away.
Many activities in the area and surrounds. Two Golf courses, Wineries and a water park a short drive away and of course there are fishing spots close by.
The house is a lovely light filled home with rich newly polished floor boards, loads of character and the wonderful old lining boards of many years ago.
The master suite with its King sized bed has its own ensuite and separate lounge. The second Master is also a king sized bed. The third room is 3 single beds, one king single and two regular singles. The fourth bed room comprises 2 regular singles & a trundle on request to allow for 10.
There are comfy couches, plenty of seating and ample crockery and glassware . Outside options to relax on the deck or cook on the BBQ or venture further out into the garden under the trees.
All Sheets and towels are supplied and BBQ is to mains gas so you never run out. Nobo panel heaters in all the bedrooms.
Free wifi
No parties or gatherings allowed as per rules. We are sorry but we cannot accept loud groups and have a strict no noise outside after 10 pm policy.

A great holiday destination.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property and it's location is perfect. It is within a short walking distance to the great shops of Barwon Heads as well as the beach. The table tennis in the shed entertained our teenage boys and the house contained everything that we needed. The lovely back yard was also a pleasant surprise.

Stayed at Alfred's with the family for a few nights in the September school holidays and could not have been happier with the location and huge yard for our dog. The house was light, bright & very comfortable. The kids had a great time exploring the inlet and we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere & leave the car at home. Alfred's on Hitchcock is a beautifully renovated older home that is warm and welcoming. The location is great with just a short stroll to cafes and restaurants offering great food and coffee. An easy walk to the beaches and the Barwon Heads hotel. We are travelling with our pet and our dog loved the fully fenced yard and spend long periods exploring the grounds. Beautiful family break

From the start Penny made us feel welcome with great communication for our family break. The property didn’t disappoint- the accommodation was well appointed with everything we could need. This is the second time we’ve stayed at Alfreds on Hitchcock. Penny is a great host, very accommodating and friendly. We share the house across two families and we love the dual living zones and sunny outdoor area. The wifi and Foxtel this year was a bonus! Thanks as always!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! All the boys relaxed and loved the location ! The property is in the best location with all shops, sporting activities which include beach, golf, fishing and ball games all within walking distance. Leave your car at home and stroll down to the cafe and beach with all food and wine / dining a short distance. The property is very clean and comfortable with excellent ammeneties. the backyard is large and caters for all types of families and adults wishing to get away and enjoy a relaxing quiet weekend getaway the property owner is very pleasant and welcoming with all needs catered for. Very comfortable , great location. The beds were comfy. The yard was perfect for our dogs. It was great having outside shed our grand kids loved all the bits and bobs to play with. It was so easy to get up in the morning and only ad few minutes walk to the bakery for a coffee and breakfast, and the dogs were welcome too. It was within close distance to some very pleasant cafes and restaurants for dinner were we also walked to. The beach was within walking distance and perfect for our grandchildren to play. We spent 2 weeks at Alfred's on Hitchcock and we were very comfortable, the BBQ was also well used. I would recommend this rental home and if we're to return we would be very happy to stay again. Penny the owner was very helpful and pleasant and more than happy to help out where she could.

I love hosting our family beach home to other families and their friend so that holiday or special occasion memories can be made. I have been holidaying on the Surf Coast & the Bellarine for over 40 years and love the relaxed vibe of Barwon Heads.

Why they chose this property

"Alfred's on Hithcock" is a revamped origional beach home with a relaxed feel conveniently located on Hitchcock Ave . Two doors from a days spa & wine store and just around the corner a couple of blocks to the inlet. A 2 minute Lesuirely stroll up the road are cafes, resturants and shopping options.

What makes this property unique

Alfred's is a quirky home in a great location on the main street filled with eclectic touches. While updated we have endeavoured to keep as many original features intact. A huge yard right in town not often found in Barwon Heads. If you have a large family or 2 families & love space on your holidays this is for you. Also, a great place for girls weekends with two day spas and a wine store & Cafes steps away. When staying in there are two comfy lounges & a deep bath for relaxing in. My favorite features are the reclaimed old Jarrah bridge beam from Central pier in the main lounge and the lush garden with Banana Palms. We love the location and that you park your car & walk everywhere. Sleeps 10.
