Welcome to your gorgeous Palm Desert getaway!

Our beautifully remodeled, two bedroom, two bath desert retreat is only steps away from the 8th fairway of Monterey Country Club. As soon as you step onto the lush garden walkway entrance, you'll realize this is not your typical white-washed desert unit. The centerpiece of the 1341 square foot property is a unique amber stone fountain, nestled inside our rainforest-like atrium. The luxurious living room boasts a flat screen TV complete with cable, HBO/Showtime, a blu ray player and a library of DVDs. A cast stone gas fireplace will keep you warm on those chilly winter nights (yes, it gets chilly in the desert).

The comfortably decorated master bedroom features a California king bed, while the master bath contains a beautifully tiled raised bathtub, bathed in light from the overhead skylight. The second bedroom has two extra-long twin beds for easy guest accommodations and comes complete with a built in desk and entertainment unit. The second bath has a walk in shower and is also illuminated by overhead skylights. There is crown moulding throughout, along with a built-in sound system that independently adjusts from room to room -- even the patio -- via your smartphone, tablet or computer. Plantation shutters screen the west-facing windows throughout the unit.

The bright and airy kitchen is updated with a Fridgidaire refrigerator, gas stove, oven, dishwasher and all small appliances and accessories. The patio has a Weber grill for barbecues and overlooks the west course, with breathtaking southwest views of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. There are 36 community pools, two of which are about 50 yards from the condo.

The centerpiece of this property is the atrium fountain, assessable by French doors in the living room and master bedroom. Day or night, the peaceful sound of streaming water fills the air and creates a relaxing spa like atmosphere. The atrium doors can stay open anytime without fear of bugs due to the a protective screen along the roofline. It adds a truly magical touch to this spectacular property.

Perfect Palm Desert retreat

Wonderful spot!

Comfort and Location

Lovely, comfortable home in a perfect location. Loved Monterey Country Club and it’s many pools and central location. The house was so cozy and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed for our month long stay.

Perfect accommodations!

The home was located on the golf course with great views and close to the swimming pool. It offered every amenity! I was there for a pickleball camp at the Country Club and enjoyed my whole visit. A couple of girlfriends joined me for a few days!

We had everything we needed in this spacious comfortable home on the golf course with pools very close. Diane, the owner is a great host. Great communication, very responsive and the house was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The location was very convenient. We loved the view of the mountains and the amazing sunsets. We hope to stay here again.

Great stay in Palm Desert

My husband and I spent about 4 weeks at this very comfortable condo in Monterey Country Club. The condo was well equipped and nicely furnished. It truly felt like home! We enjoyed the little fountain and gas fireplace too! The views from the patio are outstanding and we loved the sunshine that arrived on the patio late morning and stayed all afternoon. Also appreciated the combination lock on the front door: very convenient! Our stay went very smoothly and communication with Diane was excellent.

Perfect in every way!

This property was exactly as pictured and described, and we absolutely loved it! The atrium with the bubbling fountain is awesome and so calming. The décor was lovely, and the sun coming through the skylights in the morning was a magical beginning to the day. Met our neighbors who live there and other visitors when we went to one of the many pools, but we enjoyed the quiet of being there alone. And the location is close to excellent restaurants and stores and nail salon! :) Thank you Diane and Art. We will absolutely stay here again!

This was a wonderful place to escape to!

The home has everything you could possibly need while visiting Palm Desert! The bed is incredible, which is something to note as many can be pretty uncomfortable! The place is beautiful, cozy, private and very welcoming! It was such a quiet and safe neighbourhood! The owners were wonderful! They were extremely accommodating and answered any questions we had leading up to our stay in a very timely manner! I would recommend this to anyone! We will be back and won’t even bother to look for anywhere else! Thank you!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

A wonderful place for a 10 day get away in Palm Desert. The location is quite central to discover all of the gems the Palm Springs area has to offer. The accommodations area very well laid out with a large master/king bed and two twins in the second bedroom. Two bathroom bonus. Cozy living area to unwind at the end of the day area and only steps to the patio for golfer and hummingbird watching. A choice between two nearby pool areas made this place perfect for all kinds of water activities.

Cozy and comfortable

This home was perfect for our stay in Palm Springs. The location was central to most everything , restaurants, grocery store etc. The home itself has a unique layout which we really enjoyed. It was well stocked with everything you would need . Beautiful patio overlooking the golf course however we chose a time when the temperatures were too high to enjoy the outside. The furniture was very comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable and It felt like we were in a home, not a rental. The homeowners were very kind and accommodated us with an earlier check in and they were available for any questions and answered promptly. The only complaint we had was the hallway and master bedroom was quite dark but honestly, it would not deter us from booking here again. Thank you Diane for hosting us in your beautiful home

Serenity in the desert

The property lived up to its expectations. Very quiet surrounding, pools to enjoy, perfect for bike riding and conveniently located. Kitchen was well stocked, the courtyard fountain was a plus and communication with the owner was easy. Pleasant to watch the golfers go by and sit in patio to enjoy the outdoors. Truly enjoyed my stay.

Relaxing Spring Break!

Nice Desert Getaway

This place really worked well for me, and I could have shared it with another couple of people. It's a nice quiet place on the golf course of your typical gated Palm Desert community. It might be a little bit of a knock to say it was like visiting grandma's condo, but that's what if felt like. The furnishings were classy not modern. But who really cares. You're there for a few days or a week. It had a nice garage to park the car at night, and the owners were great. They communicated to make sure I was going to find the place and get in, and they texted about putting out the garbage. In other words, just the right amount. I'd stay here again, and recommend it for 1-3 people who are going to spend most of their days out doing something fun.

Thanksgiving Golf

Enjoyed our stay. Home was comfortable and adequately equipped with small appliances and paper products. Having a garage made our stay more enjoyable since we didn't have to unload golf equipment everyday. Only issue was we felt like allot of water was being wasted getting hot water to the kitchen.

Better Than Advertised

Great property in a beautiful community. My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed the view from the patio. I loved looking at the mountains in the morning and my brother loved viewing the stars every evening. The property is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would very much like to return with my wife on a future trip.

Fantastic stay and location

We loved our stay at Diane’s lil oasis at the oasis!! Very clean and well stocked. Really enjoyed the bubbler in the atrium at night putting us to sleep within minutes in the comfy bed! Be careful however , i ran into the bed post like 4 times getting in bed, so dark cant see it ! Arg well worth the small bruise. Thanks Diane. Hope to stay here again in future

We had been vacationing in Palm Desert for over 20 years and finally decided to purchase a second home here in 2014. Whether you're escaping a cold climate in the winter or enjoy the heat and wondrous summer nights, any time of the year is great. We want our enjoyment of the desert life to extend to our visitors as well.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. We purchased here at Monterey because of its central location, beautiful layout and peacefulness. Our condo is shielded from traffic noise, along the central corridor of the resort. Whether its breakfast on the patio watching golfers play or sipping a refreshing beverage at sunset, the serenity of our retreat is like none other.

What makes this property unique
