About this property

Nicely set up unit; there are two queen sized beds for comfortable sleeping. Recently remodeled, the fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. Everything you need is provided, including linens, washer and dryer in the complex, flat screen TV, a Roku device for access to TV, ND private high speed internet. About 200 feet from the pool and barbecues right across the lawn.

Open the doors to the lanai and feel the trade winds cool the air. Swim in the sparkling pool or grill dinner at the cabana. Play tennis or shuffleboard or just sit and read a book or watch the whales, seals, manta rays, or sea turtles. Listen to the tropical birds as they greet the morning while you eat breakfast on your lanai. The complex has a lending library in the cabana, ample parking, nearby grocery/sandwich shop, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Moloka'i is the best island for learning what the real Hawaii is like. Its people are warm and welcoming, its pace of life is slow and relaxed. There is always something to do or someplace to explore, or you can just relax and watch the sea life around you.

Lovely stay

This condo is well appointed with a beautiful ocean view from the lanai. It is a 20 minute drive to Kaunakakai. We would stay again.

Awesome Unit!

This was a really nice unit at Wavecrest. It was recently remodeled, very clean, nicely decorated, had a well stocked kitchen and linens, great wifi connection, tv with Nexflix, etc., and a cozy lanaʻi. Love being on the ground floor for easy access to the beautiful grounds and pool. You can't beat the price for a relaxing Molokaʻi get-a-way. I will stay here again for sure!

I liked the location of the unit, enjoyed the pool too while it was open. The unit was a bit dusty therefore my husband kept sneezing perhaps it was the carpet and the fake plants

A simpler way of life.

Wavecrest is a good resort.Beautiful gardens with a decent pool area.Lots of friendly quests and the staff were happy and helpful.A small beach area with dark sand.Lots of birds in the area.A small store and takeout restaurant about 3miles up the road.For the money i would say the best on the island.

Awesome host and property!!

The location is quiet and beautiful. The property is very clean and equipped with everything you need. While we were on Molokai, there was a severe rainstorm which caused flooding, mudslides, and closure of the road. Martha was incredibly accommodating. She offered to let us stay until the weather cleared and it was safe to leave the island. We really appreciate the hospitality. She was an amazing host. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful location. Beautiful view.

Great location, near the pool, the view was absolutely beautiful. Loved being able to walk out onto the grassy area and enjoy the sunrise. Cool ocean breeze made it very comfortable not needing ac. Communication and details for check in and checking out was great. Highly Recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you Martha for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of paradise. Fantastic Beach Property

We had a fantastic stay at this place, it is wonderfully located on the beach and the facilities are excellent. The apartment has all needed amenities, and has very convenient furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with a very large fridge, rice cooker and even a dishwasher. The owners installed their own internet which is very fast which was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and the beach near by. It was really a very positive experience, Martha was very accommodating and we will definitively come back here on our next trip to Molokai. Highly recommended place!

A wonderful cando

A very good stay! All our needs are well catered and the cando is very comfortable. The owners are considerate, friendly and helpful by sending us a lot of information, allowing our checking-in and out process very smooth. The cando has a very good location, which is either far away from downtown Kaunakakai or the scenic spots in the East. We also had a good time on the benches and lawns in front of the house, watching sunrise, looking at the islands and observing stars. An unforgettable experience. Will recommend to other friends if they visit Molokai.

My husband and I have visited Moloka'i several times and each time we fall more in love with the island. Moloka'i is a far cry from our busy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and we love the difference. Whether we go snorkeling or kayaking, visit a beach or the pool, or just sit and enjoy the serenity, Moloka'i is now a part of us.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because Wavecrest is so ideally located. The views from our lanai are mesmerizing and the feeling of peace is soothing. It's an easy trip into Kaunakakai (there is never any traffic) and both the west end beaches and those to the east are an easy drive for a day trip. The people we have met here are friendly and welcoming, especially our next door neighbors - my sister and brother-in-law.

What makes this property unique

Wavecrest has everything we wanted in a home away from home. The views of Maui and Lana'i are breathtaking, the property is pristine and relaxing, and we find ourselves revitalized after only a day in our hideaway on Moloka'i.
