We have stayed in plenty of cabins over the years while visiting Ruidoso but this one tops the list! Everything about this cabin was phenomenal especially the view while having our morning coffee on the deck, the cleanliness, location, and hospitality! Mr. Fernandez was very accommodating and friendly to our family! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and even recommended events that were going on during the weekend in town. This is definitely our “go to” cabin in the future and beyond! Thank you again, Mr. Fernandez! Ricardo, Becky, Angelo, and Ruthie
The property was great! It’s up at the top of a mountain close to downtown. Steep inclines driving up at times, but no problem without snow or ice. Beautiful view. Clean. Comfortable beds. Bring you own toilet paper. (It was the cheap rough stuff). Reminder-there was no blow dryer. We did text the property manager and got no response. Overall we would return to this property! It was worth the price as well.
It was a great place. The trip up the mountain was a windy road over half way up the mountain and a step climb. The drive is not paved from carport to street.. It’s gravel & there are washouts. Parking was ion cement with 30 steps to climb with the luggage & groceries. We noticed a door in the carport, however it’s locked and the master bedroom isn’t available to guest. This might should be in details.
Everything was great the location is amazing the wildlife comes up to the back door the tv’s need to be upgraded there is not cable/Wi-Fi. So we had to buy a tv with roku but that was fine. Also the drive way needs to be fixed up a little bit a car wouldn’t make it up the ramp. But the place is beautiful and I would stay again.
This house in the upper canyon was away from everything! Drinking coffee in the mornings on the porch was perfection! You could hear all the birds chirping. The house was just as advertised. I will say our girls missed not having cable or wifi, but we played board games instead. We would definitely come back again!

Great Stay!
We had a great time! The house was nice and clean. The location is good. It's out of the way of traffic and other noise. The roads are steep and it would be better to have 4-wheel drive, but we made it without it.
It snowed while we were there and it was beautiful. Deer came to the back door and we were able to get close to them and take pictures.
I would rent this property again!
This property was as listed. Check in was an issue but to be honest it was my fault. I didn’t realize evolve sent you an email to set up an account with them, in order to access the code to check in, unlike other Vrbo rentals.
I suggest taking a 4 wheel drive. The drive way is no joke. But we really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely rent this property again. We had a great time!
My wife and I needed a quiet get away. This property is tucked high up in the upper canyon and offered a wonderful place for to disconnect.

Cozy cabins
We paid for a 2 bedroom 2 bath.. and we got stuck with 1 bathroom, we were 2 couples that paid for 2 bedroom 2 bath, it was a disappointment and cery inconvenient for us with 1 bathroom, why didn't we get what we paid for. Which was on the ad.. thus is ridiculous i want some of what i paid for back!

Hi Miguel, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, so we take the accuracy of our listings seriously. We double-checked the listing and confirmed that this home is correctly advertised as having two bedrooms and one bathroom. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
To start, the drive up to the home is treacherous, once you arrive, getting into the drive way is nearly impossible, 45 degree angle and not paved. The stairs and decking are dangerously old and warped and falling apart. The chairs outside are ready to be thrown out or someone will hurt themselves when they collapse. There is a broken, rusted hammock taking up half the porch.
There is no tv and no internet access. The shower did not work at all, bath tub was dirty. Decorations were sparse and the atmosphere cold. The views were obstructed by electrical wires all around the home.
When I did finally get in touch with someone to ask about the tv and internet, he was rude and said he was in Florida, and we would be paying a lot more if we had a nicer home.
And it was so bad we left a day early.
This is a home that should not be allowed on Vrbo.

Tomas, We're sorry that this property wasn't the best fit for your group. We'd like to share the following:
-The driveway is part of the mountainous terrain, and it is shown in the listing pictures.
-We do not advertise a TV or internet for this property, so guests know what to expect ahead of time.
-We're sorry that there was a miscommunication, as the owner only meant to convey that the property is priced accurately for the location, layout, and amenities.
-The owner replaced all of the wood on the deck, but cold temperatures warp it within six months- it is safe for guest usage, though.
As evidenced by all other reviews, we are sure that this owner will continue to provide excellent guest service and five-star experiences!
This cabin was perfect for our little getaway. It was so peaceful and just right for our group. We especially loved all of the Chuck Norris movies haha! We plan on staying at this home any time we need a place in Ruidoso.
It was beautiful and had everything we could want in a weekend stay and more! So close to town if we needed to drop over and get something. Would recommend and stay again!
